Wonder if this includes helmet to helmet hits by Hines Ward ?

BY him, or ON him? I've never seen him whine when he gets hit in the face mask or the ear hole. And he always bounces back up (knocks wood).

This is one of those instances where I almost wish the refs WOULD have given the ball to Miami. Although, THAT would have been the wrong thing to do. Anyway, we had 2:30 and all three timeouts. No question in my mind we get it back with plenty of time to kick that game winner. Miami started at their own 30 and only needed about 40 yards to try their game winner and they couldn't do it. We won, we deserved to win, end of story.

For every close or controversial call that has gone the Steelers' way over the years, the fans have all said the same thing. At least they got the call right. For example, the TD pass to HOlmes vs the Ravens (goal ling catch) was eventually ruled a TD (we won't debate that controversy). Steeler nation once again said that the call was right and that's what mattered most.

Now Steeler Nation wants us to believe that getting the play right does not matter and that the 2 minutes left after the ridiculous call makes up for it. Sorry man, I am not buying it.

Couldn't care less. You don't hear about the calls that don't go our way because we overcome them (see 2005 Divisional Playoff Game - Troy picks Manning).

Wanna discuss the stoppage of forward progress and a BS fumble?

Not getting into the debate about the Steelers call because, frankly, it's silly.. The referees got the call right, after the fact, and it's not like the Dolphins didn't have opportunities to win that game.

But the fumble was the right call

No question it was a fumble. Also, no question that the refs made the right call after the fact. As it turns out, only one ref had a decent view of the play and it looked to him like a TD (The ref in the end zone was not in a position to see it as Kemo and a Dolphin player obstructed his view at the critical point). I'm just sick of hearing the whining about all the calls going our way.

The immaculate reception hit the ground! :P

But I agree with you. The referees made the correct call and, even if it was wrong, there's nothing they can do now. In the history of the NFL, I don't think they've ever gone back and edited history (not that this case was wrong). More controversial things have happened and will happen.

Don't make me come after you. ;-) That's and OOOOLD issue. and psst, it wasn't an argument of whether or not it hit the ground, but who it bounced off of (Steelers Frenchy Fuqua or that idiot Raider).

They didn't hand us a damn thing. That was the right call. Ben said HE had the dang FB on the bottom of the pile and laid off it because it was ruled a TD. There were a few non-calls that we DIDN'T get as well in that game and on big plays. And, if I'm not mistaken, there was 2:26 on the clock; this was not the final play of the game.

Big Ben also said he didnt sexually assault a few women. Zinger! :batteur-musicien:

And no one has proven otherwise. Hopefully you never get "accused" and then have a jury of folks like yourself.

I sometimes come off as aggressive; 9 times out of 10 it's unintentional. I've also been told on many occasions that I should have been a lawyer. lol
