Hi guys. I have the feeling that the old woman who used to occupy my house is haunting my bedroom. I am not sure if she is dead yet but she moved out when she was about 80. I am noticing things go missing and strange noises in the night. I would like to talk to her or communicate with her in some way if possible. Does any one have any tips, information or experience in the area?

I found this website but I'm a little confused

Thanks in advance,
Gumbleton

Number one rule. NO OUIJA BOARDS. They may seem cool, but they make everything way worse in the long run. Trust me. You don't to have that.

If you hear any voices say "Join us" it's time to find a new place to live.

This is a really nice place. I'm so glad we moved here. I really like this place.

<voice from the house> "Get out!!"

Too bad we can't stay Baby.

Well if you are the last thing you would want to do would be having a seance haha, wouldn't that be like inviting the old <woman> in?

Hehe I remember doing that as a teenager on my friends fathers boat, we scared the bejesus out of ourselves and yes Boones Farm was involved. We swore the ghost of Pooles island and his dog was coming after us.
The group also visited the adjoining gravesof Capt. Elijah Williams, age 24, and his brother Capt. James Williams, age 26. The brothers were residents of Poole's Island who lost their lives during a snowstorm in February 1855.
The visitors were particularly taken with the words on the Williams brothers' tombstone:

"No friendly hand did close their eyes,
They saw no tear, they heard no sighes;
But in the waves they lost their breath,
And they endured a watry death."
There are 2 tombstones by the lighthouse that we snuck up into.

Just tell her she is not welcome in your bedroom/house and kindly ask her to leave.

I think you are watching too many horror movies, or ghost shows on TV.
It's easy to weird yourself out. As far as "things go missing and strange noises in the night" doesn't that happen everyday no matter what?
Even during the daytime, there are weird noises.
Things go missing all the time, especially the other sock.
What things go missing, and what noises are you hearing, also are you joking?

Wow, you just took me back.

We investigated all the local legends when I was in high school one night. Too much to type, but we freaked ourselves out as well. Regardless, it was a great night that I'll never forget.

See if the ghost likes to get frisky. If your married its not "technically" cheating.

I see you live in Australia. Perhaps a sacrifice of a Koala bear might bring the demon to life.

rofl dude a koala bear. Funny stuff bro.

But you probably shouldn't mess with the entity (if there even is one in your house)

If you want to piss it off then bring out the Ouija board! Then play monopoly...they hate monopoly.

That's pretty much what I was going to write.

Sounds like there's dudes breaking into your house late at night and taking things because they still think an old lady lives there and they can handle it.

Ouiji Board.

I hear they make everything better. If that doesn't stop whatever it is, challenge it to a duel.

Sweet, just hope it isn't the ghost of Bubba Ho-Tep.

Of course I know it's not real. What kind of dummy thinks it is? I think there's about three or four different endings to it.

I was born in the Philippines where shamans and witch doctors weren't unusual. I got pretty knowledgeable of these stuff from them. Just don't risk bringing one. There might be a chance you'll get out of it, but you never know man.

As most of you know, my wife is from South Africa. When we met, we worked on cruise ships. Well, I had her convinced for about three hours after the movie that The Blair Witch Project was real. It was one of the funniest three hour spans I can remember in some time. Watching her go around to everyone at the bar talking about how heartless the kids parents were to release that footage.....trying not to crack up and getting everyone to go along with it.

She was pissed when someone let her in on the joke.

Actually I did a lot of hiking around there on the AT, and Gathland state park is there and the wonderful Weaverton Cliffs.

Out in the bush in our area here, there is a section of the woods where the trees have basically formed their own tunnel. All the trees are branching down and it makes the top look round, and this stretches for about half a mile - it's extremely creepy.
