Week 7 - Buffalo Bills At Baltimore Ravens

1,575 posts in this topic

Oh good grief.....thank you, Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, and the leg of Billy Cundiff. Two OT losses in a row would have killed me.

All I have to say is:

Thank goodness for the bye. We obviously need it.

Don't blame the offense, they played well. Thank goodness Ed Reed plays today or the Ravens lose PERIOD end of story.

We can't get to the QB biggest story of this season.

We have a defense full of pride and strength and will, but I think our best defensive guys are just past their primes.

The Ravens can still win it all, but this isn't the defense we are used to.

Ray Ray continues to will himself to be great, but where has JJ, and Suggs been, they can't get to the QB are their jets dead?

Pass rusher biggest need huh fellas?

Bye week is great timing.

see.....the other day some "uninformed" Ravens fan here....posted called the Bills an...."AUTOMATIC WIN!" really? the 0-5 Bills....pushed the Ravens to their second overtime game in back to back weeks....in M&T Bank Stadium. wow! this is why you can NEVER underestimate any NFL franchise irregardless of their record!

The thing that alarms me the most is our offense was the opposite of clutch for a second week in a row. You've got to get those last minute scoring drives when you have serious SB aspirations.

Knowing the Bills put up 30 on the Pats a couple of weeks back I just wanted to get thru today healthy and with a win. Sure wish it would have been a more convincing win. It looks like Ed knocked off the cob webs and let's get ready for the second half. Should be good. Any word on Heap? scary watching him drop like that.

wow! what was that? lucky reedy was back or we'd have been screwed. GET A DECENT CORNER BACK AND PASS RUSH.

Smokin' Joe was great, Brady was fantastic.

Mood: Optimistic but annoyed.

Yup, ask the Saints who got manhandled by the Browns.

I'm most alarmed by the fact that certain people aren't alarmed by it. Harbs and Cam are all "audibles are overrated" and "the playcalling wasn't conservative." If they could at least admit that they have to get things straightened out, the would probably be able to do it fairly easily with all of the talent on the team. But as long as they think they're all right, they won't change.*

*I haven't checked out today's post game conference yet.

be4 everyone bashes cam and the palycalling, yes they shulda ran more, but they still won and got by with the plays he did call... for ex. the first offensive play of the 2nd half they probably shuld ran but did a flea-flicker and 99.9% of the world did not expect that .1% being the Ravens. No matter if you think he is to CONSERVATIVE,that is the only time i have ever seen the Ravens do a flea-flicker... we got boldin for a reason not just to run the ball 24/7 against arguably the worst all around defense in the league.. the Ravens looked like Shizzle early but showed they are a super bowl team by not looking past a bait game, which i think they did early on, by looking torward the bye week by thinking this is automatically a win, and showed they can score points and play a little D and WIN games... i dnt care if it is aginst the Bills there still an NFL team for a reason..

Ray tipping the ball to Reed that lead to the INT, and the next play on offense was a flea flicker to Boldin for the TD was beautiful.
It doesn't get better than that.
That was perfect.
