that it was.

I was reading the CBS recap, and it said that the nuggets defense buckled down in this game.

Is letting in 120 points 'buckling down'?

Between those two teams, I guess so!

Maybe they thought the Suns would put up 150.

By "Ready to Rule," I actually meant "Ready to lose to the Bucks with a needlessly dramatic finish."

I really hope none of the injuries at the end were serious...Stevenson looked like he hurt his ankle/foot pretty bad from his reaction.

what a night

Agent 0, Dirk, Elton Brand, and Gasol all return to action and help their teams to victories except of course Arenas.

Yeah that game was a heartbreaker. What really pissed me off tho was the foul when Sessions intentionally stepped on Arenas' foot (the foot with the bad knee) and tried to trip him. Thats ******* dirty!!

Yeah, that was real dirty. How'd the crowd react? I saw it happen, but was studying with the sound off.

the way the Cavs have been playing lately, it looks like they are one and done probably in about 5 games. Brown is a horrible coach, the front office has gotten LeBron little help, Big Z plays like a 7'3 sissy, and the Cavs as a whole haven't been playing with any passion lately. I really hope LeBron gets out of this mess and gets with a real team/franchise.

How soon can he become a FA?

Wow, that was a MVP caliber prformance by CP3 against Golden State

I think what gets lost with him is the steals--I mean, he had a triple double, but he also had FIVE steals on top of that. Pretty incredible.

Whew, well as far as that Warriors/Hornets game goes, what can i say other than Don Nelson was outcoached by Scott. My Warriors built a solid lead and held it for the first quarter and a half by attacking the basket and then began shooting errant 3s that not only they were missing but they DIDN'T need! So I figure Nellie would have a chat with them in the locker room at the half after giving up that double digit lead and what happens again in the 3rd quarter?: 3 pointers flying like crazy with only a miniscule 12% of them going in. Monta Ellis in particular had a hell of a game (35 pts, 10 boards, 2 assists, 3 steals) and Baron pulled his weight too, but Nellie, you can't expect your starters to play 40 minutes every night! Instead, he denied Monta and Baron a much needed breather by not putting in rookies Marco Belinelli and CJ Watson (who both played very solid games in the Warriors' previous game) for even just 5 minutes so when crunch time came down in the 4th, maybe they'd still have a little back in the tank. Plus, whenever we got on a run, Scott was smart, called a timeout to give some advice and effectively iced whatever run we had going for us. SO good job New Orleans, hopefully this was a learning experience though since it's highly probable we'll be facing them in the playoffs now...

Looks like we also have a better shot now at nabbing that 8th seed over Denver now (by the way, thanks Sacramento and Seattle for helping out our chances by smashing Denver two nights in a row). 4/5ths of our remaining games are home games (where Oracle Arena will be shaking with one of the best fanbases in the NBA), 3 of them are against sub .500 teams, a must win against Denver, and finally a road game against Phoenix that we will probably lose.

Denver has 3 more straight road games @ the Clippers, the Warriors, and the Jazz (which they don't have a chance of winning in my opinion) followed by a tough home game vs. Houston and a gimme against Seattle. Did I mention that Denver has the worst road record of any of the top west teams?

So the Warriors have been given a huge opportunity to sneak into the playoffs again but they have to seize it. Nellie needs to get our rookies more involved in the rotation to make us less predictable, Michael Pietrus needs to hurry up and get over that strained groin because we need him now more than ever after playing solid all season. Stephen Jackson needs to get back into his shooting rhythm (he's been HORRID the past week and he's our best perimeter shooter) and Matt Barnes needs to get into the rhythm for the first time this season (after being clutch for us last year, he has been dreadful all year). Guess we'll se what happens. GO WARRIORS!

Corvus I saw that Warriors/Hornets game and I was amazed at how many threes they attempted, something like 27 and making only about 3 if I recall correctly. They weren't just missing the threes, they came up really flat and looked like it had no chance of going in the first place. I don't know if you watched Happy Gilmore or not but it reminded me of him, trying miserably to putt in the ball, cursing, yelling at it as he kept missing.

Oh yeah, Warriors are back in the swing of things, ready for this big Denver game Thursday. Baron Davis led the way against the Kings last night with 33 pts, 9 assists, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 block.

I hope they make it over Denver. Baron Davis is so awesome to watch.

I think Denver is done for. Do they still have Kenyon Martin? If they do having him, Iverson, and Mello and still not making the playoffs is lame.

I love the Warrior's small ball, but I also like the Nuggets. Why can't Phoenix, Dallas or Utah just fall of the face of the earth and let GS and Den in?

Well, they beat GS last night, which puts them a step or two closer. And yeah, they have Martin.

I'm glad that Denver won, so it seems pretty sure that they will go to the Playoffs.

But I really like Golden State and with the way Baron Davis is playing right now, they really would deserve making it into the payoffs.

Denver controls their own destiny. They did a good job defensively against the Warriors holding them to just 105 points

LeBron exploded for 24 in the first quarter, tying a franchise record held by........well LeBron. than he was pretty much shut down after that and the Cavs lose a big game to the Bulls 100-95.

Wizards got whacked by the Pistons, so I think the Cav's 4-seed is pretty safe.

it doesn't matter, Cavs don't look anywhere near ready for the playoffs. LeBron and co. are still trying to mesh with his the teammates and so far it's looking bad. I hope Elton Brand joins us next season!

Yeah, I see what you mean.

On the other hand, the Wizards seem to have one in every four or five games where they just come out completely flat and play inexcusably poorly. 27% shooting tonight...the potential Cavs-Wiz series could be a battle of inconsistencies.
