I have no idea if this is true, but apparently the Magic's 2nd Backup center Marcin Gortat can dunk from the free throw line :

ouch the Bulls got spanked. they are my sleeper team, because I believe Rose will go all cp3/Deron with them and lead them back to the playoffs.

yeah, Greg Oden was impressive. A double double in just 17 minutes, with 3 blocks to boot.
Derrick Rose will be rookie of the year, book it!
I dunno about that... OJ Mayo is lighting it up, as is Rudy Fernandez (and his teammate Greg Oden is getting into the swing of things too)

Wizards fire Eddie Jordan... anyone really care about the Wizards? I "root" for them but only because of their close proximity, but I am more a fan of individual players like LeBron, Kobe, CP-3, etc.

P.S. Love the sig
I am going to crack up when he either 1) re-signs with the Cavs for more money (thanks to the Larry Bird exception) or 2) joins his buddy, Jay-Z, in Brooklyn should the Nets move there

So many times I lost count by the time the 1st ended, BLEH! And of course they kept egging it on cause they had nothing else to talk about since the Knicks were getting stomped.

Thanks for the sig props too LOL.

Honestly I have no idea at this point. I think this season is a big step in determining what happens; we've upgraded our players and got people he wanted and in my opinion this is our best overall team since he's been here.

If it were truly only about money though and the "international" image he's been seeking he'd go overseas ala the Josh Childress route. Can you imagine how much money he'd make taking an international offer? SICK money.

oh yeah completely forgot about that. Kobe is a free agent this summer I think, he might toy around with the idea of heading overseas.

He wouldn't rule out going overseas. I think if he wanted to go overseas, he'd easy be a billionaire in a few years. Consider that if he takes his game to europe, he'll be the object of a bidding war, and that can't happen in the NBA. And if 2 really passionate, multi billionaire owners go head to head, he could get the biggest paycheck that any sportsman has ever seen. If I was James, I think I'd head over to europe.

I actually think James heading abroad would be a really good thing for basketball, and even the NBA.
If this triggers a epidemic of american products heading to the wider world, and the rest of the basketball globe can acheive atleast some sort of parity, it could open the door to lucrative international tournaments, like the Champions league in soccer. Not just the boring preseason exhibition trouncings every year.

That was a good game. Had to stay up until unholy hours of the morning to watch it, but I'm glad I did.
Jameer Nelson is really coming into his own, and Courtney Lee is looking like our best draft pick since Dwight Howard (which isn't much of a feat. Our Drafts since then have been pretty awful).

Same actually. D-Wade is my favourite non Magician. Except for Ronny Turiaf (who leads the NBA in shots blocked per minute BTW).
