what is wrong with Ray Allen? he's one of the best shooters in NBA history, and he's missing wide open shots. not only is he missing it, but he makes it look like Ben Wallace is taking the shots! but I do feel once he gets off the slump, they'd be back to their regular season team slaughtering form.

Bulls get the top pick! I just might like them again if they get Derrick Rose!!

No! they need Beasley! Kirk Hinrich is not great, but he's better than Drew Gooden, and Beasley is better than Rose anyway.

I like Rose's upside, he's a big and fast point guard, has And 1 type handles, a filthy first step, nasty crossover. I think he's going to be better than Cp3 and Deron, a PG prospect like this is rare, Chicago can't miss out on this!

Good question. I could easily look this up, but I'm guessing Gollum Cassell didnt get a lot of minutes last night.

nope Eddie House is getting his PT back, Cassell is basically becoming quickly forgotten. I applaud Doc for having the balls to bench a veteran like Sam, and also for benching Ray Allen for most of the 4th quarter in Game 7 vs. Cleveland.

Haha yeah, maybe he read Bill Simmons' article on him just before game 7. If you haven't read it, mosey on over to espn.com and check it out. Its pretty damn funny.

ppsssshhh, it's a good thing San Antonio is experienced, most teams would be affected badly by this. Not saying they aren't but they've lost to the Lakers in pretty bad ways in the past!

I didnt watch the whole game but I did keep checking the score. They lead by like 20 going into the 4th. I wont ever count the Spurs out but losing this first game def. doesnt work in their favor.

naw the 20 point lead was cut to 7 heading into the 4th. it was amazing, the Spurs are up 20 midway through the third, yet the Lakers had a chance to actually take the lead before the quarter was even over (they cut it down to as low as 4 I think). Spurs remind me too much of the Cavs.......blowing big leads at the speed of light due to cold as ice shooting, and relying on one player to bail them out. Mike Brown was an assistant from one of the championship Spurs teams, I think that's were the similarities plays in!

Ray Allen has come to life!!!!!! but the Celtics still lost, but I think after their first home loss comes their first road win. theirs no way a good road team can go this long without a win on the road right? <_<

DJ Gallo rules, even though he falls back on cheap Ray Lewis jokes sometimes.

He always ends his "Ponder This" column with a Ray Lewis joke. I hardly laugh at those anymore. I do enjoy his captions.
