Superbowl Video

30 posts in this topic

The opening video on the website is awesome. What happened that year was special with all that happened. I remember watching the SB when the giants took that Kickoff for a TD then Jermaine Lewis came and gave it right back all for his son was a special moment. Watching that video just gives you a warm feeling that makes you smile for 10 minutes.

One of the things I can't stop thinking about after watching it...

Rayray looked so....young back then...and to see that clip of him with tears on his face.... gets me right in the heart.

that video was very well done.. it's quite incredible how amazing our defense was that year. I think most would say that was the best defense ever in the NFL.

That is a great front page video. What a season and year that was for the Ravens, the coaching staff and especially Art Modell and his family. Thank you for bringing back The NFL to Baltimore Art. I would love to see Ray get another ring before he retires, and of course the entire team as well.

WOW! Not just Ray, we were all so much younger in 2001. The country never heard about 9/11! My wife was nursing my youngest son when I screamed so loudly when J. Lewis ran that kickoff back that I scared the crap out of them both. After the game, we all went out in the yard and carried on like nuts.

Weird... all I get is black with the buttons for "Skip Video" and "Never Show Again." Is anyone else having trouble watching the video and getting a black screen?

Also to the person that said Ray was young... he still is young! Ray Never Ages!

Can we just take everyone on that defense's (and Jamal Lewis/Shannon Sharpe)DNA and make clones of them so we can watch them every Sunday for the rest of our lives. That defense was so athletic it was retarded...might have to put that Super Bowl game into the DVD player tonight and relive the dream lol

I would love to be able to hunt down a list of the scores from that season.

Finally got the video to play and boy between that and watching America's Game on my Ipod that brought a tear to my eye. I'm so glad that this was the Ravens game I get to come up for, nothing like celebrating that huge Super Bowl win. Can't wait for Sunday.

Am I the only one who on each play in your head thought about this Ravens team... like Dilfer throwing to Stokely and in your head you see Flacco to Boldin for a TD, Duane Starks intercepts it and you see Ed Reed returning a interception for a TD. I couldn't help but do that, anyone else do that?

You can buy the 2000 Ravens playoff games and Superbowl game from Amazon. 4 games in 1 case.

I got ripped off on mine though haha, I have two Superbowl dvd's and no game against the Raiders. It's especially weird because it says Raiders vs Ravens and the score on it yet it's the Superbowl game.

I will never forget that moment, no matter how many SB victories the Ravens have by the time I die. First will always be the best. I remember I was only 10 years old and was on top of the world. You could have punched me in the face anytime that month and taken my lunch money, but I would still have that grin on my face. Right after the game was over I went and wrote "WORLD CHAMPIONS" on every possession of mine haha. I was definitely a proud little kid.

I'm a little older than you so for me that game brought something back to Baltimore that had been stolen. A little closure. Though I do still have this odd desire for Indy to lose lol

It also made me hungry for another Ravens' SB.
