We play them once every four seasons, when our turn to play the NFC East comes around. Last time was in 04 when they lost to our D and Special Teams. We play them again at home this year.

I think the bitterness probably comes from our relative success since 1996 and the fact we have better ownership and a nicer stadium.

I agree, also the fact that we have actually won a superbowl in 2000, they havent even been close for a long while. Also they may be jealous that we have had winning seasons over that last 10 yrs and that we draft all our players so that our team has so much chemistry. They basically trade all their draft picks away and sign FAs, thats why the have the worst cap problem in the nfl and to top it off all those FAs don't have any chemistry together because they are all from different systems.

But the Redskins are the most profitable sports franchise. They make a ton of money. And i guess in the end thats what its about, i dont see why they would care about winning if they still make more money than anyone else. I just don't get all the hype their players get.

If you go around the suburbs of DC. I think you'll see alot more Cowboy flags than Redskins flags(kinda sad). I know we have our typical Steeler fans here in Baltimore, but at least we can out-beat our Rivals.

As far as the topic is...I love being the underdog. Just like last year alot of analyst thought we would be the team to go into the Super Bowl. Of course that didn't happened. Only time can tell now, and days counting down till draft.

plain and simple...that what alot of players will do and shut everyone up who have or will be talking about them....i think with us flying under the radar with things, we are able to do our own thing, and quietly generate a great season and get great players, without bringing that much media attention abroad...which is how we like it and would have it no other way indeed.

I don't mind flying under the radar to a certain extent. One other good team that happens to not get much attention is the jags, but even they get some recognition sometimes with maurice jones drew or veteran fred taylor.

but what i cant stand is when people say the Ravens flat out suck (this of course b4 our 07-08 season...and even that was only because of an injury plagued season) because we stay relatively quiet in FA. Im just saying look at the players on our team. We drafted most of them and they are darn good. Thats how its supposed to be done. I doubt we would be as good if we did what the redskins do.

we generally arent a big or even Huge team during the course of the Free Agency Period....if you look at our past history during this period of time....we've never really been THAT huge or that active during this period of time....we do however sign a few players here and there and re-sign a few here and there to keep everything up beat and fresh and bring in new persepectives and going about executing plays and overall production. but nothing like most other teams around us and/or the league itself.......we are best suited up for the NFL draft each year and thats where (i think) a majority of our overall attention would be at....which is where it should be at because they are ensuring that the future is bright and better than that of yesterday and the past for the Ravens Team and Ravens Community. the future is at hand.

People always say we suck to me at school. lol

But the only thing I say to them is just wait till next season.

Jags are always quiet during off-seasons and the Ravens are the same sometimes. The draft is the only thing I really look forward to while the Ravens are in their off-season.
