I'd take Lamar Houston off their hands for a 3rd. Dude would be an awesome 3-4 DE.

I was literally begging the Ravens to draft him. Had him in all of my mock drafts.

Nnamdi is a pipe dream, but if we can get him for a 3rd, I'd do that in an instant... Ozzie and Co. would be able to re-work that deal.

McClain, again, is a pipe dream, but would most certainly be a welcome addition for the "right price"

Seymour is intriguing as well, and would certainly bolster our meager pass rush.

It will be interesting to see who, if anyone, actually does get traded.

The Raiders, in my mind, have good, young players... thats not the problem with that team. The problem in my mind is the lack of a decent Coach, and an even worse owner in Al Davis. When that Zombie quits ruining the team (if he ever does) then the team will once again be a playoff team; the sooner the better.

My opinion,

The only players on the raiders roster worth having

Micheal Bush(RB)
Darren McFadden(RB)
Johnnie Lee Higgins(Primarily for Punt/Kick Returns)
Zach Miller(TE)
Nnamdi(CB)
McClain(LB)
Seymour(DE)
Wimbley(OLB)
Louis Murphy(WR)

They have fielded 9/55 roster spots with decent-great players. That is absurd with first round picks every year.

The thing is... sitting around wanting and hoping something to happen. The NFL Trade Deadline is so boring... the NFL should move the Trade Deadline from Week 6 to Week 8. If we have a later Trade Deadline Date we can actually create some drama like the MLB does.

We have 1 hour and a half left until the 4PM deadline to trade players so we'll see what happens and if any Raider has a new home.

I would give up a 3rd rounder to bring Seymour in if they got 2-3 years out of him. He is an instant upgrade for us. I'm curious to know what the right price would be for Seymour.

Yeah, they should move the deadline until later. As long as it doesn't get too close to the playoffs.

I'm thinking Week 8-9. With Flex scheduling starting in week 11, it would make sense to move it and it would create that MLB Trade Deadline Drama.

That is the one thing the MLB will have over the NFL... Exciting MLB Trade Deadline.

MLB Trade Deadline: Teams Making Moves for playoffs

NFL Trade Deadline: YAWN!

Unfortunately the trade deadline for the MLB is the only exciting part of the sport as a whole

I know that's the point! How is it that the only thing that makes Baseball exciting is so boring in the NFL.

I wanna see a later Trade Deadline to see teams making a play to help make a playoff push or a team who is wanting to make a Super Bowl push... that would bring excitement to the NFL!

I don't think the NFL is too worried about adding excitement, as it is the most liked sports league in the US. But a later deadline would be better.
