LOL. They sure know how to press our team after they barely beat us in OT. They use the word "losers locker room", "stingy" and try to smear Suggs and Johnson as a clown.

What are you talking about? If anything, I'm kind of embarrassed that suggs would act so bitterly.

I don't think Suggs is bitter, I think it's just his competitive nature.
I'm glad they spoke their minds, they want to win every week, and especially against Brady.

I see it as a typical post-game article that you'd find in any NFL city. It's a non-story.

This is what Mike Preston of the Baltimore Sun wrote about the Patriots. I'm sure I could find other similar comments about the Patriots from other local sources without looking hard.

EXCERPTS (12:19 a.m. EDT, October 18, 2010):

And the best the Ravens could come up with was Rice up the middle, Rice on a stretch play left or right, or Rice as the check-down receiver. You've got to be kidding me.

These calls came against a secondary that couldn't cover a baby with a blanket.

======

The problem here is that Cameron still doesn't have total trust in his quarterback or his receivers. Cameron doesn't have to turn into a gunslinger, but he has to let his receivers make plays, especially against a sorry bunch like the Patriots.

The sorry bunch he is referring to is their secondary, and they were playing like a sorry bunch, Flacco was eating them up until they adjusted. Flacco should have continued to eat them up if Cam would have adjusted. Coaches adjust, players execute. Preston was spot on in this one IMO.

As a Pats fan, I thought the Baltimore writer who stated that Belichick could defeat the Taliban with 2 weeks to prepare and spy footage was hilariously brilliant. :229031_rofl:

That much is obvious, and is the root of all this BS play calling.

The only adjustment needed was more men to cover. They weren't really blitzing which means they had many men back in coverage. And when you only have a total of 3 sometimes only 2 eligible receivers to defend, that is just too easy.
