never noticed that but yea that pretty cool. Can't wait for us to go in the dome with Ed Reed. I can truly see it Ed Reed picks the ball of runs it for a TD. Man i miss Ed Reed lol.

isnt it werid how after 3 years how both teams seem to end up with the same record? 11-5. 9-7 and now both sit at 4 and 2?
And I'm sure there are people complaining about Matt Ryan after today.

Flacco = Better physical skills

Ryan = Better "Awareness" lol

I'm still sticking with our boy though. I just don't know what is going on with his ability to adjust at the line, it is nonexistent. Can he do it? Is he allowed to do it? We definitely have a mystery on our hands.

The awareness comes from the fact that Ryan played in a pro style offense in college and Flacco didn't (don't count his time in Pittsburgh because he wasn't on the field). Ryan was already a few years into learning a pro style, drop back offense with pro style route running and protection schemes. Joe (who by the way most experts thought would need at least TWO seasons on the bench to even be ready to play NFL football) is still learning how to read defenses, and also has three new receivers he's working with, while Matt Ryan has had Roddy White his whole career. Plus, Ryan doesn't play in a division where he faces two top passing defenses twice a year. A better comparison would be to look at other "spread" system quarterbacks, i.e. Alex Smith, Tebow and McCoy as their careers go on, Vince Young, etc.

I thought the falcons were a tad bit overrated. Called them losing to the eagles today.. I see us going there and beating them in a few weeks. We will contain Michael Turner, and in the end to much pressure will be on ryans shoulders.

I agree. People say Ryan is much better at home, but so far he has not showed much potential yet in the NFL.
Ryan is nearly unbeatable at home.

How hasn't he shown potential? He may not have accomplished much in the post-season, but that's a bit different...

I wouldn't call them over rated but they are a team who I would say are 2 years away from being a true contender. Containing Michael Turner,now that is questionable since we let 2 nobodies in Peyton Hillis and Danny Woodhead run over us so it will be interesting to see if we can stop Turner.

Now for the fact that they have the same record, it's quite interesting, it seems the Football Gods are tieing Joe and Matt together at the hip, with the exception of the football gods being more generous to Joe to have been in the playoffs more than Matt but still. It wouldn't surprise me with the way things seem to work with the Ravens/Falcons, Joe/Matt that the Ravens play the Falcons in the Super Bowl within the next 5 years.

I was concerned about a road game at Atlanta this year, but how they were devastated by Philly eased my worries greatly.
Philly actually knows how to utilize there receivers, plus we play Atlanta at home where they are considerably better.

Not to mention we'll have a very short rest period.

Good win against the Dolphins but it is a short week here and we have to prepare for Matty and company.

Everyone gets to see the much anticipated Flacco vs Ryan. =)

White is that deep threat that I worry about. Playing in Atlanta this should be a slug fest. We need a big game from our offense in this one.

This is going to be a really, really tough game. Matt Ryan is is crazy good at home.

Does anyone have an update on the Roddy White injury? I don't want players to get hurt, but if he's out our chances go waaaaay up

I feel more confident about our chances with White after the day Brandon Marshall had. But they have different playing styles. Hopefully we can contain him pretty well.

I got injured, left the game got a brace. Came back in, then left again. But he did come back and finish the game. So he it sounds like he might be fine for next week.

OK, thanks for the updates. He worries me since he can blow the top off the D. As long as we keep Fabian far, far away from him :34853_shakehead: we'll be all right I hope

Should be a good game, but I will miss some of it have to work :angry:
Haha, I asked for work off that day. In no way, shape or form am I missing a Ravens-Falcons game on prime time for a job I absolutely hate. Should be one of the best of week 10.

Most likely Fabian won't be starting.
