Ravens Attend Ryan's Pro Day

Wish this guy had done more workouts and activities. Even though he's already the top QB, I just think it's lame that he didn't "show off" more.

The fact that Ravens officials were sent to Matt Ryan's workout is intriguing, but may amount to nothing.

Although the temptation is there to select a QB with the 8th overall pick of Matt Ryan's caliber, there is still the financial implications of doing so, especially with no guarantee of Ryan being a starter in the near-future.

When making an investment in a QB with such a high pick, there is tremendous pressure to start him due to the financial ramifications.

If, however, Baltimore is presented with the QB dilemma that Cleveland currently faces in choosing a dark horse that has unexpectedly played well over the 1st-round pick, then that is still a better scenario than having no viable option whatsoever.

But, again, money talks, and frankly, with a crowded QB depth chart, the Ravens would do well to be patient and wait until the 2nd round to select a QB, preferably Joe Flacco.

I agree besides the Chiefs sent their GM and Head Coach, they were the only team that did that. There is a VERY good chance that they are planning on taking Ryan IF Atlanta passes on him.
