You know, I was worried about the Falcons game, but they got wiped out today by the Eagles, and now that Texans are dropping key players, our season is still far from over.

Atlanta is definitely way better at home.

Matt Ryan at home = Matty Ice
Matt Ryan on the road = Ice Cold Natty Light

But the NFC has nothing on the AFC. I don't care how Atlanta has looked in the NFC. They struggled against the Steelers. We should be able to go into Atlanta and come away with a win.

On a separate note, how legit is Natty Light 30 packs.

I still dont think that Ryan has showed enough potential to provide a win against us.

Carson Palmer wasn't very good either, but Baltimore still managed to lose.

I'd take the Ravens everytime if the game was in Baltimore.

I'm less concerned about ATL after their crushing defeat to the Eagles. But then, it's the Eagles. And it was an away game. And Matt Ryan is still considered one of the best new QBs in the NFL. :borg_assimilation_faces:

Palmer hasn't hurt the Ravens as much the last two seasons as Cincy's Cover-2 defense.

Lucky for Joe and Co., the Falcons don't run a Cover-2 as their base defense.

That's kind of my point though. Ryan may not have to play lights out (and I don't really expect him to). The Ravens can still find ways to lose winable games as we saw so often last year.

That was last year. For one game, we saw them revert to their '09 form but that doesn't mean it's a trend that will continue.

Feel sorry for the Bills. Home game and REEEED coming backk! woot!
Not to mention that we are celebrating the ten year anniversary of the superbowl team. So that should help with team morale.

The Ravens will beat the Patriots 27-20 this Sunday. Brady will throw 2 long passes for TDs, knowing that he won't be able to penetrate our D-line in the endzone. They'll also score 2 FGs.
this should of been the score.

I will gladly take the heartbreak of losing to the Patriots if the Ravens go 14-2 in the end. Hell, I really don't care who the Ravens lose to for the rest of the year, getting over that Pittsburgh hump and beating the Jets on national TV was good enough to make me willing to settle for a winning record and a playoff berth the rest of the way.

Well said but would like to beat the snot out of the Bengals. :ICONATOR_01040da29c18a4eed76047

It's hard to predict the oucome of any game that we play. But this is my thoughts for the rest ofthe year. But it would be great to be proven wrong.

Home vs Bills - W
Home vs Dolphins - W
Away at Falcons - L
Away at Panthers - W
Home vs Bucs - W
Home vs Steelers - L
Away at Texans - W
Home vs Saints - L
Away at Browns - W

We just got through the toughest first six-game schedule in the entire NFL 4-2, which is about what i expected. I think the experience our team got together, with our new guys like Q and Housh will go a very long way as the season goes on. I can easily see us going 12-4.

The Bills are a great team to play after a tough loss like this. Should be easy to rebound and get a win....

The next 4 weeks for both the Ravens and the Steelers will go along way to being able to figure out who is going to have control of the AFC North going into their rematch in about 6 weeks in Baltimore. The Steelers next 4 games are at Miami,at New Orleans,at Cincinnati, and home to New England, while the Ravens next 4 games are home to Buffalo and Miami and then on the road at Atlanta and Carolina. Advantage definitely does favor the Ravens in this stretch of games. However, the Steelers after this stretch of games other then having to go to Baltimore only have 2 road games left going to Buffalo and going to Cleveland to close the year out. 5 of their last 8 games are at Heinz Field and playing both the Patriots and the Jets here at home as opposed to having to go on the road to face them will help the Steelers a great deal. So if I had to guess Im going to say the Ravens will probably have a better record then the Steelers heading into their rematch in December but it will be only by a game and as long as that stays like that the Steelers still have a chance to get back that win the Ravens got from them here in Pittsburgh by beating them in Baltimore in December...

You know, I like where we are at now, and i think its gonna be nice to roll in the bye week at 5-2. Not bad at all. and then we come out guns blazing and wipe out the already miserable Fins. From there, im not sure. I think the Falcons gmae will be tough, but im confident in Joe's learning ability.

Miami isnt that miserable they are undefeated so far on the road and have won in both Minnesota and Green Bay yesterday. Those are two pretty good teams if you ask me. I know Miami got blown out by the Pats a few weeks ago but they took the Jets right down to the wire as well. The Steelers are not going to have an easy time winning in Miami this Sunday and the Ravens are not going to have an easy time beating them in Baltimore either I believe in 2 weeks...

I agree. There is all this talk about it, i want to see it happen. I hate bye weeks. I know they are necessary for the players, but i hate waiting.

I would say we win out except losses with Pit at home and loss at ATL. This would give us 12-4. Unfortunatly I think Pit may take the division unless they start lossing. We will deffiantly get wild card AGAIN. On that note as much as I hate to say we need to hope for New England to win that division because we have the advantage over the Jets.

I would be looking forward to that game too if it was in Baltimore. Can you imagine four years of "Ryan beat Flacco?"

I am sick of not winning the division. The Bank deserves a home playoff game. Especially after how there last one turned out.

But you can't complain if you are consistently making the playoffs I guess.

we thrive as a wildcard team though, but I think we can win the div. this year... we've got Pitts number at home and they have a few tough games in their future

Not to stir up trouble as well and not to make any excuses for the loss 2 weeks ago in Pittsburgh but I still want to see this Ravens team and Joe Flacco beat the Steelers and specifically beat the Steelers when Ben Roethlisberger is the starting QB. I want to see Flacco go toe to toe with Ben and out play him and out perform him at crunch time when it matters the most. Flacco has yet to do that when he has played the Steelers when Ben has started he is 0-4.

That is ultimately right now what makes the Steelers still the better team then the Ravens I believe. I do believe the Steelers defense as a whole is still better even when Ed Reed is healthy, and I think Ben being better then Flacco as well especially in crunch time is the ex-factor on what makes the Steelers a little bit better team then the Ravens. Ill say it again I wanna see Ravens and especially Joe Flacco beat the Steelers with Ben Roethlisberger as the starting QB. Because the facts and numbers dont lie when Ben starts and plays against the Ravens the Steelers for whatever reason or no matter how ugly it ends up being find a way to win and the Ravens dont...

As much as it hurts Raven fans eyes to read that, everything you say is pretty much the truth.

Flacco isn't 0-4 in those games, the Ravens are.

Look at last season when Joe played a pretty good game in Pittsburgh and arguably outplayed Roethlisberger. Foxworth returned interception for a TD but it was called back because of a block in the back by Suggs. McGahee had a TD run called because of holding by Kelley Washington and Mason dropped a touchdown pass with no one within 5 yards of him in the end-zone.

All three of those plays contributed to the loss and yet had little to do with Joe so to affix a record beside a QB's name makes little sense.
