Hey everybody out there. Im ready to hear from you. This is a thread for posting short comments and then score predictions for any of the games upcoming in the season. I know you all love the Ravens, but please give serious score guesses, not rediculously biased ones.

Side Note: Under My name, im listed as practice squad. How and when does that go up?

The Ravens will beat the Patriots 27-20 this Sunday. Brady will throw 2 long passes for TDs, knowing that he won't be able to penetrate our D-line in the endzone. They'll also score 2 FGs.

We Pillage, Loot and Burn New England, Atlanta, Carolina, Houston and Cleveland. Then we send home packing the Bills, Dolphins, Buccaneers, Steelers, Bengals and Saints.

Sounds like you're predicting a perfect season from here out, huh?
No I just really wanted to say that. Ofcourse we'll probably lose some game here and there. It would be great if we didn't. I'm really not one for predictions.

ok then, instead of score predictions, who do you think will be the biggest threats?
Atlanta at their home in the dome, Texans at their home in the dome, Steelers, Bengals (always plays us hard). Those are it.

The Saints aren't going to worry me a bit at M&T in December. Last year they had a nice schedule in November and December that favored their team.

So crunching the numbers. If we split those four games. We could easily end up with a 13-3 record. Then room for error (unlucky losses, etc), worse case scenario 10-6. Best case 15-1.

People will hate me for this, but I think we lose to the Pats this weekend. Then Go on a long winning streak, only losing 1 more time for the rest of the season. (Houston, ATL, or Pittsburgh)

I will gladly take the heartbreak of losing to the Patriots if the Ravens go 14-2 in the end. Hell, I really don't care who the Ravens lose to for the rest of the year, getting over that Pittsburgh hump and beating the Jets on national TV was good enough to make me willing to settle for a winning record and a playoff berth the rest of the way.

I don't think the Ravens will lose this weekend. My prediction is 23 - 20 B-More. As for the biggest threat in the AFC, I would have to say either Pittsburgh or New York.

Actually my prediction would have us ending 13-3. I think we lose to the Pats, and 1 more team after that. Which I listed.

14 or 13 wins, I'm pretty sure most fans would take that.

Call me cocky but after looking at the games that we have played and the fact that we seem to get better each game I really don't see us losing any other games on the schedule unless we kill ourselves with penalties. We won't blow a lot of the teams out but I see us beating them. If we keep playing the way we are and stay healthy, our O line continuing to protect Flacco we should go at least 13-3.

Toughest games in my opinion:

Falcons: 24-10 Ravens (We have a good second half to create distance)
Steelers: 21-17 Ravens (Nail biter as usual)
New Orleans: 24-17 Ravens (Another second halfer)
Bengals: 31-21 Ravens

I dont think the Pats will be too tough. My bet is best case, 15-1, most likely 13-3 with losses to Houston adnd Atlanta.
My guess is that the Pats aren't too tough either. I think our games to look out for just like any other team are the teams you don't expect the team especially down the stretch because everyone's fighting to make the playoffs. No one can sleep on the Browns either because Hillis has been giving a lot of teams trouble and if they can get it together defensively they will be a big upsetter.

I'm not sure Houston is that good, after getting blown out by Dallas and the Giants and just barely beating SF...

I'm with you on lack of respect for the Pats this year. I feel like I shouldn't though, especially since it's Tom Brady, it's a Belichick coached team coming off a bye so you know there will be some new wrinkles in their gameplan that we haven't seen before. But still...not too worried

Pretty much the same here minus the Bengals(they're a train wreck)! If Reggie Bush is not back when they play us, I can't see us losing more than 4 games this season.

I kind of feel the same way, but I have a few more games on my list. If the Ravens lose to Atlanta, we're going to have to hear about how "Matt Ryan beat Flacco, so that proves he's better" for the next four years. * Baltimore has never beaten Carolina and since they only play them once every four years, it would be nice for that record to fall.*
(* Unless the NFL season changes, which it probably will.)

I'd also like for them to not get swept by Cincy for the second time in a row (and the third time by a divisional rival), and I like being able to say that the Ravens have never lost to a team from Texas. Those two mean less to me though.

Other than all of that, I could care less as long as they make it to the post-season. :)

Ravens win, 31-20.

To be cool like me and have the MVP (Most Versatile Poster) designation under your name, you have to talk a lot of smack to Bengals fans. The more internet whoopings you give them, the higher your ranking.

This is interesting. Everybody seems pretty confident about where we head into the Postseason. People bring up the saints, saying that they will beat us down, but they are not looking nearly as impressive this season, and with Bush out, im not really worried at all. So, give me some guesses or predictions...How far into the postseason will we go? Who do you think we will play in the playoffs and perhaps for the AFC title?

Well, the Texans have had a rough start, but they are a really good team. Matt Schaub is a great quarterback, one of my favorites, and i think they could pose a threat. The interesting thing is that our only MNF performance is the game when my two favorite teams play; Ravens v Texans. Ive been a Ravens fan far, far longer than ive liked the Texans though, and so my loyalty lies with my Baltimore.

Thats the thing though. The have poor pass defense, but Flacco is still not into the groove yet, and our passing isnt a huge threat so far. We can hope, and have faith in Joe, that our pass offense will be more than enough come time for Houston. And even good teams have games where they lose to poor teams *cough* colts at Buffalo last year *cough* and colts a jags this year *cough*...both of those losses made me laugh until i cried... XD

eh idk. flacco looked "into his groove" last week except for the beginning of the 2nd half when he couldnt hit anything. and then the week before against the steelers he did alright. and against the browns he just went off lol

You are out of your minds if you think we will end up 13-3 (IMO). Best case I would say is a 12-4 and I'm leary saying that. I'm really thinking 11-5/10-6. I'm not the one to predict scores and hell I hope I'm wrong with the season win/loss out come and it having a better out come. You wanted real stuff and not biased, so there you go!

The Falcons game is on the road and it's a Thursday night game.
That is a recipe for disaster.
If we win that game we are truly a great team.
We also play the Texans on Monday night in Houston. That should be tough, and then we come home to play the Saints the next week. That will be a tough stretch.
I know we get the Bengals and Steelers at home but that will be difficult, plus having to go to Cleveland to face the Browns, which won't be as easy as most think.
Also, anytime a team has back to back road games, they tend to not do so well. We play the Falcons on the road on Thursday, like I said, and then go right back on the road, to face the Panthers. I know the Panthers aren't very good, but given those circumstances, it'll be tough.
