Ok here is a tip for madden when you start a new game play as the good teams and make your oppentents the bad teams.(the Colts,Patriots and Ravens are suggested for 08)

ahh yes....madden.....i used to play that game 24/7 practically..... i am always the ravens..never do i faulter from my Raven ways even in madden......i played it so much and so hard that whenever someone decided to try and play against me.....they got outscored by at LEAST 40-50 points haha.....this one time...this guy came over to my house and asked "who here is the best Madden player?"....every finger pointed straight to me (dang them....) i thought i was gonna get my butt handed to me cuz he played it for money and stuff you know? we played 3 games...each time i was the ravens......first game i beat him 45-7..second game i beat him 52-14, third game..i beat him 35-7..needless to say i was shocked and i could see he was too...afterwards he couldnt really say anything lol he just stood there dumbfounded.....but i used to play it like every hour, every day, every week, every month lol and i never ever grew bored of it and am still a HUGE madden fan today....though my game (i think) has since diminshed some what because i havent played it in quite a few months....but i dont have the time to right now....but still a great game.

I like making a HUGE guy in superstar mode (i'm talking 400+ pounds), make him a running back. Then watch him dominate. They need about 5 guys to bring him down.

Although if I simulate a game he'll generally rush for about -6 yards, and about 3 fumbles.

I just started a supserstar mode as "All Day" Adrian Peterson. He averages about 300 yds on the ground per game.

lol.....i made a Quarterback (my name of course)....was drafted by the Raiders in the 3-4th round and in only is 5 season.....was a 5-time NFL MVP, 5-time Superbowl MVP/Champion....had over 700 Passing Touchdowns.....had over 10,000 yards rushing and around 50 TD's, he has/had over 70,000+ yards passing and has/had a career QB rating of 150.4....

The only one that I can prove to be a lie is the passer rating, that only goes up to 160, but I'm pretty sure the rest were too.

The max passer rating is actually 158.3 in the NFL.

that's what I thought it was, but I thought it was a bit cocky to assume that that is the highest based on the fact that that is the highest that I had acheived.

just thought I would throw in that I just finished the 2011 season of Madden 08 with the Ravens and finished with a 19-0 record and by playing very smart and not throwing any stupid passes, Troy Smith finished with 56 touchdown passes, 2 interceptions, 3500 some passing yards, 600 some rushing yards and 3 rushing touchdowns to go with it.

It would be great if by 2011 he was really producing similar numbers.

In madden, i like to start a franchise, and instead of playing every game(because ill destroy the computer), i like to simulate. See if the team i assemble is enough to go all the way and fix the holes through free agency and the draft.

Fantasy Drafts are always fun to. Draft a team, and simulate to see if your drafting payed off. I've gone as far as 15 seasons ahead with just simulating. Once you get that far into the season, 6th and 7th round players begin to blossom and really contribute to teams.

EDIT: Too bad my 360 broke. i was 17-1 in online play. One of my friends destroyed me, McNair couldnt make any quality throws that game.

Not spending money on a 360! That console is easily the BEST waste of time i've ever had.. its easily worth the money.. playing online is the most fun though.. With the headsets and talking to your opponents(or teammates in other games) is crazy..

I'm glad to see that so many Ravens fans actually use the Ravens in Madden. I assumed that you would follow your team in real life, but sell out and play with the Patriots/Colts/Cowboys in the game. I play Madden 08 on PS2. I'm sure the PS3 version is better, but either way Madden is as Devastat1on says, "The best waste of time I've ever had."

Me to but they hadnt really been updating the PC version the last few years. It seemed like all they did was a roster update every year. Whats funny is they pulled the PC version but they still have it coming out on DS, which is just silly because sports titles dont sell well on DS.

No, if I use another team its usually one that sucks. I usually use the Lions or Texans if I dont use the Ravens.
