How about this - 2010 Flacco started the first 2 games with 1 TD and 5 picks, and QB ratings of 62 and 24. He finished the year as the 7th ranked quarterback in the league. We also started off with 3 wins in a row in 2009, then lost 3, then went win-loss, win-loss, win-loss the rest of the season, and still managed to beat the Pats in their house in the playoffs. And let's not forget the 9-7 Giants team that won the Superbowl last year, or the 10-6 Packers team that won the year before.

There are a lot more questions on defense this year though and defense has always been our foundation. We don't know anything else lol

We'll be find. There is still a lot of football to be played. We basically lost this game more then the Eagles win it. Refs are one thing but we couldn't stop them when we had to. It happens, I'm ready to move on already and tear up the Pats.

I cried cause my wife made come killer mixed drinks, but left the spoon in the blender. Had to throw it away cause I am not a fan of shards of metal in my drink.

Eh I wouldn't go that far. They controlled both sides of the ball but had stupid turnovers. But agreed gotta move on.

'I'm not sure why people react like this after a one point heartbreaking loss with loads of bad play and horrible officiating,'. Yea, and I'm not sure why people freak out when they see a dead body

When we lead the turnover ratio by 2 and lose we blew it. Simple. 4 Turnovers and the Eagles still won, not acceptable for our standards.

Yeah, I guess not--but my personal frustration with the whole situation was about the same. It's true that these non-conference games count in the overall record, but better to lose now, and early, and fix the problems before we get into the schnitzel with the division rivals later.

Bad games happen. It sucks that our consistency will be questioned now, after we lost a "week two"-game again, but atleast it's against a good team. The Pats lost to the Cards for god's sake, that's just embarassing.
The problem is that the Eagles are only good on paper and looked awful on the field.
The Eagles managed to put up the most yards on the field, were more effective in the passing game, we helped them a lot with stupid calls and bad execution and they still managed to almost lose it.
