Parts of Maryland definitely yes but Baltimore itself heck no
I love Bmore. People dis it for having bad parts but every city has good and bad parts. Downtown Bmore is one of my favorite places ever, but perhaps I'm biased since I grew up 15-20 mins away.

He said "to some." And he's right about that. Some folks absolutely love Baltimore and wouldn't rather be anywhere else. Maybe not you, but that doesn't make his comment any less true.

You know what gets my goat?? The phrase "gets my goat".And also, threads that have nothing but a player's first and last name for the title.

Nakamura making 2 absolutely bone head plays last night...and alot of people want him to play more...we turn the ball over and recover inside the steelers 20 and he holds a guy who standing beside him. Then flat out misses Ben on a clean blitz on the head-fake that everyone and their mothers knows Ben does and when(one can assume) Mattison and Harbaugh preach to break down on Ben when come clean off the edge.

The purple and black uni's were kinda sick though lol

I waited 24 hours after the game before i posted so i know i could think logically. Does anyone else think if Flacco moved around in the pocket 2 or more of the drives would have been extended last night. I mean the guy is like a statue and reacts to pressure like a snail. He absolutely has zero awareness of what is around him in the pocket. Do not get me wrong i an a huge Flacco fan but he is not the great QB everyone makes him out to be. Came in the league the same time as Ryan from Atlanta and look at the differences. Ryan is a true game changer and the game has slowed down for him. Flacco is off of the mark on a lot of his throws even when the receiver is wide open. The guy just is and always will be at best an average QB no matter what team or situation he is in. Big Ben with a "BROKEN" foot moved around more then flacco last night. I am not saying the O'line did a great job but good QB's adjust and evade the pressure. Nope, not our flacco.

OK i am done. Let's go RAVENS !!

2 of Flaccos biggest completions came as a result of him extending the play or stepping up into the pocket...

I wanna cry about all of the crap that's been posted since last night. Can't some of you take pity on us mods? We've about worn our out Edit and Delete buttons. If you feel it necessary to post the same stuff in thread after thread, at least quit cussing.

Wow, what a horrible assessment. I agree with the others; you should have waited longer to post and perhaps watched the game again (assuming you saw it once already).

It really is a shame that Flacco stood in the pocket on the TD pass....oh wait
He really should have scrambled for a first down or two....oh wait
He really should have prolonged the play to Stallworth.....oh wait

Are you serious? Did you even watch the game? He moved around the pocket, evading pressure left and right. The Oline just stunk it up.

I'm crying about our ineffectiveness and just plain inability to run the ball, when you can't run the ball you cant use the PA which we have been using this year more than any other team. Notice how there was like no PA in the Steelers game after the 2nd half, it's because we gave up on the run.

Still a little buzzed that they were passing on 2nd and 5 with 3 minutes left in the game...

I like the call but it has to be in a max protect formation with the T's having support on both sides, in a 2 WR formation IMO. Which of course wasnt the case.

Somewhat like the game winning play against Pittsburgh, except both the help was shifted to Ohers side.

If Joe can throw 60 yard bombs from the endzone to guys like Stallworth, why can't he do that from the 40? We didn't even try the rest of the game. uggh

Yes, but I can understand the argument to run the ball. Kill the clock for 2 more downs and take it to the 2 min warning (ish) and punt it and at the very worst make Ben go 80 yards in 2 minutes on the defense. Hell you already put the whole second half on the defense whats 2 more minutes.

That's what should be done 1,000 times out of 1,000.....if football were blackjack, that would be "playing by the book"

He did try that. He tossed one up to Housh who was double-covered. It was one of the last plays of the game.

Thats what baffled me after I got out of the game emotionally. You put the entire game on the defenses shoulders in the entire second half, then with like 3:10 on the clock NOW you want to do something you should have been doing all half long?

Complaint about a stadium usher (first complaint ever)

I was at the Steelers game last Sunday and had a horrible experience with one of the ushers. I entered the stadium just as the Ravens offense was being announced, so I decided to peek into the first walkway to the stands and watch the last 60 seconds of the introductions while standing against the back wall of the walkway. An usher promptly told me I can't stand there, so I start walking back to the exit but I also was glancing over at the players coming out of the tunnel. He yelled at me and said "Keep moving! Keep moving!" I then was at the exit, halfway between the stands and the concessions, but still where I could barely see the final players coming out of the tunnel. He then walked all the way over to me and continued yelling at me saying he'd throw me out of the stadium. I couldn't get over how aggressive this usher was. I understand that he didn't want anyone in the main passageway of the stadium, but I feel this usher was on a power trip and went out of his way to make my gameday experience start off completely rotten. I entered from Unitas plaza, so I was on the lower level 50 yard line where I tried to get a glimpse of those introductions. Thanks for reading as I needed to get this off my chest. I've never experienced anywhere close to any type of problems in the stadium before this.
