I am getting annoyed by the media's love for the Jets and Steelers.

ESPN ranks the Steelers #1 despite the fact we beat them at Pittsburgh, some CBS columnist says the Jets have the NFL's best offense despite the fact we held them to 9 in their home...

That's cool though, let us be the dark horse that nobody wants to root for. That role has always suited us quite nicely as a matter of fact.

I am sick and tired of having to wait until Sunday or Monday to watch my Raven's play another game! Something has to change! LOL! Oh wait, I know what can change! Maybe we can get some more Raven's TV show that cover our team. All I see right now is show after freaking show that covers the Redskin's all day long and then 1 Raven's show and that is it! C'Mon Man!

Well in actuality our city has 2 super bowl wins and 2 NFL championships!! So screw all the other fans in the NFL that want to hate. Let em hate, it's their jobs!!

Oh my God, YES! I was like, 'what the heck Carter?!'. He also said something about the Ravens not beating them at their house..and Steve Young was like, 'Um, they did beat them at their house, and they beat Pittsburgh at their house,'. Carter was all hemming and hawing like a Steelers fan about them not having Big Jen, and Young just let him know that Big Jen or no Big Jen, beating Pitt at Pitt is a major accomplishment.

I hate that The Media gives us no attention whatsoever. I mean every bit of attention is on the Jets... in which it seems the media forgets they were handed a playoff spot, at best they were a 8-8 team, if you count in that either way they would have beat the Bengals. Jets this, Jets that... I'm sick of it. WE ARE 4-1 WITHOUT ED REED DAMN IT! 4-1 WITHOUT JARED GAITHER AND DOMINIQUE FOXWORTH. In this passing league you need a Safety like Reed to stop the pass, and the game is won in the trenches, so you need a good Right Tackle. Since this league is more of a passing league, I don't consider a WR that important anymore, I consider Safeties, Corners and Offensive/Defensive Lineman much more important than a Receiver.

I hate that we don't have all the draft picks like BB does. I tell you it's a conspiracy, the League wants teams to trade their draft picks to New England and not give any to Ozzie... since the league is afraid of Baltimore winning another SB.

I hate that we didn't get Dez Bryant, Kyle Wilson, Dan Williams, and traded down with Denver!! Why didn't we trade for Boldin sooner... or Marshall since we would have gave up only 2 second rounders which by the way Denver could have used since Kindle got hurt and I'm sure we'll draft another Project player in the second round in 2011!

I am unsure what is going on with Gaither but hope he is alright (We need you man!)
We are 4-1 after a really tough opening schedule.
Sometimes I hate Cam's play calling but you can't argue with wins.

I guess the only thing I can cry about is living in Steeler country and having to watch all the Ravens' games on NFL.com's Game Rewind. It pretty much sucks.

I LOVE the idea of a Crying Thread. I'll always take the opportunity to vent, if invited...

1. I hate head coaches (Rex) that become the story (Rex) instead of allowing the players (Rex) to lead the show (Rex). The best ones - Harbaugh, Dungy, Tomlin, Reid and even Belicheck all have to do the necessary P.R., but they don't become the story, they discuss it.

2. I hate players that celebrate, with excessive vigor, when making a tackle after a 2 yard rush. A sack, TD, interception... sure. But I don't celebrate when I correctly tie my shoes. Act like you've been there before.

3. Run Ray Rice. Throw screens to Ray Rice. Run Ray Rice even more. You don't throw a hand grenade when you have a nuclear warhead in your arsenal. Ray Rice is one of the 5 best offensive weapons in the NFL. Use him, Cam. Use him more.

4. Every game has questionable referee calls. Currently, there are 16 teams that have had more penalties called against them than the Ravens. Even more signifant, the Ravens' opponents have had 52 penalties against - FIRST in the NFL. The refs do not hate the Ravens... (Sorry, I just hate every loss being excused as the refs' fault... )

5. The Ravens are, arguably, the best team in the NFL right now. They are not being recognized sufficiently. However, that does not bother me - it's motivating for the players. What angers me is that I am (tied for) 2nd in the Yahoo picks, behind only Darklight, and [b]NO ONE[/b] has praised [b]ME[/b]!

oh get off it already...a loss is a loss just as much as a win is a win. Theres not much that gets me real fired up in a negative way, and I hardly EVER start a topic on this board, but this just ticked me off to no end.

The Ravens won the game without Ed Reed as well so dont know if that's equal to Ben being out or anywhere close but the bottom line is the Ravens just made a few more plays then the Steelers did in that game and took advantage of some missed opportunities by the Steelers. With all that being said, f the Steelers were able to hang with Baltimore and damn near pull off a win with Batch as their QB it proves that they are just as good as the Ravens are. Joe Flacco took a big step in winning that game here but the fact remains he will have to do it once again in December in Baltimore again against the Steelers when it will matter a lot more being closer to the playoffs. Flacco will also have to beat the Steelers this time around with Ben Roethlisberger as their starting QB something he has yet to do in his 3 year career seeing he is 0-4 against the Steelers when Ben starts.

This thread is for us to whine, not debate..we argue waaay too much everywhere else on the forum.

Which reminds me of another complaint that I have...

I hate when steelers fans miss the entire point of the post they are responding to, and do the EXACT same thing the media does, which is completely ignore the fact that we have a better record despite missing superstars of our own.
