Team With Great Depth: Trade For A Star?

15 posts in this topic

Okay guys, so here are my RBs and WRs

RB:
Ray Rice
Jamaal Charles
Matt Forte
Ronnie Brown
Knowshon Moreno

WR:
Miles Austin
Roddy White
Brandon Lloyd
Jeremy Maclin

After Forte's explosion this week, do you think I should package him with either Maclin or Lloyd for a Star Receiver or RB?

I'm thinking someone like Rashard Mendenhall or Chris Johnson

By the way, my QBs are:

Kyle Orton
Matt Ryan
Jay Cutler

So trading for an upper echelon QB is also an option

I would stick with the guys you have. There are a lot of fantasy stars on that roster. Are you winning consistently?

If you really want to trade a guy, look at the sell high guys, which it looks like you are. Maclin, Forte and Lloyd are all these guys.

But I would just stick with the guys you have. Depth is great come the bye weeks and when injuries occur.

I agree with PuRock, alot of those players are hgh ranked high point players, why would you want to get rid of them? You have great depth there.

You can win with those guys, if anything I would trade one of your QBs for an elite TE or Defense.

wooooow thats a really good team IMO anyway. i think maybe you should trade one of your QBs tho. orton has been pretty consistent with about 20 fantasy points or more in a week. cutler could prolly be traded for a TE or someone. you have a good amount of stars already. rice, charles and forte are all producing well, and so are ur Wrs, austin, white and lloyd are putting up good numbers. you seem pretty set at those positions

I'd say you are set at RB, maybe try to get yourself a top flight WR on the level of Wayne, Nicks. Whats your TE situation?

I've got Jason Witten and Jermichael Finley at TE (insane, i know)

Check out the trade proposition I have above your post, and tell me what you think

it seems like Ryan Matthews has to share some carries now with Tolbert, but johnson would be a good pickup. Forte is doing really well and so is Llloyd this year. i would keep who you have IMO

Actually, Mathews is likely to shoulder more of the load while Tolbert will be the short-yardage and goal-line option.

Oh I'd definitely do that trade!!! Your TE's are pretty set too, Witten has been playing well recently, yet it's a bummer Finley is out of the year I had him too.

But anytime you can get the best WR in football, gotta go for it. Plus Matt Forte is inconsistent, I'd personally take Ryan Mathews over him too. I'd say pull the trigger on that
