Did Cody Play?

I saw him get subbed in a few times.
Funny thing is I don't really notice him during the plays but can spot him lumbering back to the sideline LOL

I saw the TV crew zoom in on him on the sideline. So he must've did something.

I saw that once as well, but that was at the end of the game when they were literally sitting on the bench. LOL Ngata was lounging back on the bench like he was in his favorite recliner.

Cody was in for like 3 snaps I think, Cody isnt exactly going to see alot of snaps against a pass happy team.

Also don't forget that McKinney has really come on this year. Remember, Cody is a still a rookie and McKinney has been waiting the wings for a while now, I'm happy for the guy.

Or was his time limited b/c Denver's rushing attack was not a factor?

Harbaugh seems to be doing a trend of limiting second round picks playing time. We saw it with Ray Rice his rookie year not getting that many touches even though McClain was our main RB. We saw it last year with Kruger. Now this year with Cody.

Redding was healthy and Cody is still a backup. His time will come.

Exactly. Besides, you can never have too much depth. He'll be licking his chops and have a fresh pair of (massive) legs come playoffs.

The only game I didnt agree with Harbaugh was the Browns game, but he was coming off knee surgery and it was thought at the time more important to stop the run against Pittsburgh than Cleveland that day. McKinney also didnt get a lot of snaps this last sunday either. We're going to have Cody full blast during our playoff stretch run (hopefully) so against teams like Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Miami, Carolina, Houston are teams Cody is going to see significant time against IMO.

I only remember seeing cody out there on a few plays. Looked okay. Nothing to get excited over, I dont recall him getting many chances to do much of anything.

ah, good find. Hope we see him in action this weekend a bit more than just 5 snaps.

I fully expect that we will. It wasn't so much of Cody's play that only got him 5 snaps, but moreso of the way the game played out.

Cody didn't enter the game until the score was 17-0. After that point with 9:26 left in the 2nd quarter, the Broncos were clearly in catch up mode. They only attempted 10 runs for the remainder of the game.

I don't think that Pats offense will be so pass heavy, even if we jump out to a big lead. So Cody should get his chances.

I would hope he gets more time, just because I like him, but really, the players he would replace are doing well.
He's not just their to stop the run, he can quickly collapse a pocket as well, and that is why I hoped to see him more this game.
I think they are doing the right thing with him, slowly bringing him in.

You answered your own question, :). Cody's a big ol' run stuffer..no need for him for the Broncos!
