I think this decade is the end of the patriots. Eventaully they will be like a average team. At least I think.
Doubt it. With all the draft picks they have in the next draft, they will only get stronger and more built for the future than most teams.

Not sure.....they're relatively young and have a TON of picks next year.

if there is a holdout this year what happens to all those picks? Is there a draft at all?

That's a pretty big window. The decade just started.

As long as they have Brady and Bill they will contend. Lose one of those guys and their odds are a lot worse. They do have a lot of draft picks and Brady and Bill don't seem to be leaving anytime soon. They'll revamp their D real quick.

Without Moss I think welker is primed for banket coverage. Chase Brady some and he will et rattled, especially when his security blanket has been covered tight. The run D needs to step up, and Our Offense needs to exploit a weak defense....

I think we can win. if we can prevent Orton from killing us, we can stop Brady.

Pats defense? don't make me laugh.
Yeah we didn't give up the big plays that let Denver score. I am confused a bit though. You are sitting with the #1 passing defense in the league about to face the #1 rated passing offense in the league...um....why do you begin a CB Carousel? We let Orton put up over 300 yds today and I think it had a lot to do with all the personnel shifts at CB. We're lucky Orton is the King of the Screens. Brady is not. If we let him put up those numbers - they will have scores attached.

Yeah, but 100+ yards of his stats and one TD were in "crap time".

Shut down Welker
And Grownkowski, Woodhead = both exceptional, and heavily used by pats.

I would also watch out for Patrick Chung. He is a ballhawker, and will grab a int. when Flacco is under pressure.

The Patriots don't really scare me. I'm not saying that they are pushovers by any stretch though. Run the ball and stop the run. Make them one dimensional while we control the clock and the game. Just don't want it to be a shoot out.

It's tempted not to throw to when either T.J, Boldin, or Mason keeps getting opened lol..

However, I agree we need to keep the clock running by going for running game alot more.

I think running or passing is situational.

PS: We will win but it's not easy because we play at their own stadium.

wouldn't it be great to totally dominate those cheating patsies last we did last playoffs?

I'd love to see belicheats frozen dumbfounded face in his after-the-game conference.

All around I think we have the better team and should win. Defensively I think we need to make them completely one dimensional and shut down their run game because that'll be easier to shut down, I think, and takes play action away, sort of. I think our CBs match up well and since Moss isn't there to take away a guy or two downfield we'll be better off. As long as we cut down yards after catch for their receivers then we should continue to be lights out. Turnovers would be nice but I'm not predicting certain ones this week. Offensively I think if we control the ball and clock with a healthy dose of the run and a good balance of play action, shotgun, long and short passes then we should pull through. Long drives will be the key, I think. Special teams wise, control the ball and get big returns if possible. Holding onto the ball is the most important thing and don't give up much when covering punts and kicks. Special teams is going to have to be solid.

The only thing that worries me is that they've had an extra week to study. Them wanting revenge really doesn't except for crowd noise because they'll probably be really loud. I'm not scared of Brady, not overlooking him either but he's not on the defense. So as long as we keep the ball out of his hands and keep our D rested we should be fine. It's all about executing though.

Just because Moss is gone does not mean this will be easy for our defense by any means. Tom Brady can make things happen with players you've never heard of. lol However, I do think this game is ours to lose. The Ravens just have to execute.

Im curious to see what Belichick has been working on.

If Rex Ryan can beat the pats then we can get them too losing Moss and Mahony and a couple others makes our job a whole lot easier...
What Rex does has no bearing on what we do and who the hell is Mahony?

Because Bill is the master of gameplans. With two weeks to prepare, he'll have a great x's and O's plan. Its just not about the pieces in his chess game.
