Still Doing The Black Uni's For Tomorrow?

Wondering if it is simply a error or somehow they felt black and pink clashed? LOL

The original announcement for the 3 black games says Denver is one of them but the gameday page(which is usually accurate) says purple

It's not stupid ...it shows support for an extremly important cause!!!! I assume you have never had to deal with breast cancer...Mom, ,Wife, daugther....and MEN, No one is exempt!!!!

It's not stupid, it's for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. None of the players are forced to wear pink: they choose to. Or would you rather they didn't raise money and awareness for breast cancer?!

For the record, Black and Pink are one of the better combos - black doesn't clash with anything.. How do you think the Bucs, Browns, and Seahawks feel? Like, EW, omg!!

Sorry to be weird, but if that is true, it's crazy.
Black would highlight pink better than purple, it's more of a contrast.
It would look a lot better too.

That sounds like a bad idea, how can you play hard if you are wearing purple and pink?
I don't like that idea at all.
When I played sports, the team did like to wear a certain color or uniform over the other. Of course I wasn't a pro, but certain things like that can influence a players mentality, any little thing can, it shouldn't but it does.
Athletes are humans too, and the little things matter, whether subconscious or not.

Imagine being the guy that is being guarded by the guy in purple and pink with long hair lol. Or losing to the team in purple and pink lol.
And I think black would look far better than the purple with pink. I'm no fashion guru but pink and purple, especially the Ravens deep purple, just have to look mindless together. But with that being said, we normally suck in black. Throw in pink and who knows. So purple is fine by me.

since when do we wear black THREE times? We used to only wear it twice a year when it came out. Since harbaugh got here we only wear it ONCE a year.

I don't get why the team announces these things, if it's not true. And please, spare me the "they changed from black because it's sunny and they want to stay cool."

And yes, black would look a whole lot better with pink than the purple jerseys would look.


Anyway... it's not a big deal. But I don't get why the team announces black jerseys ahead of time if they don't plan on sticking to it.

This makes it really hard to successfully organize something amongst the fans like a black out when the team isn't even wearing the right color. But, perhaps this also means they won't be wearing black for the Saints game. That, in my opinion, was a pretty stupid game to wear black for... a team that has black all over their uniforms.

if it's as warm in Baltimore as it is in va I can see the Purple being worn.
