Rules Question/misinterpreted Call

I apologize if this was already discussed, if so Mods you can hopefully direct me to where I can find it. Obviously, things worked out for us for the best, however... When the Steelers did their final punt, holding was called. I'm pretty sure the holding occurred in the end zone. I may be wrong about this. However, I thought it occurred in the endzone, and I was wondering why we weren't given a safety? Anyway, glad it didn't matter.

Referees told Harbaugh it occurred just outside the goal line.

Better be glad we didn't get that safety. Then we'd be down 12-14 and probably would have played it safe, ran the ball a few times and gone for a FG. But now Flacco has a confidence boost and we won by more points!

Yeah and all of the missed FGs were at that end of the field.
