@wrm#1---Kelly isn't a pass rusher, he's a run stopper and has been since his days at OK. You have to also remember that Kelly has been around in the NFL since 1999, yeah most of his playing has been here in Baltimore but he aint no spring chicken any more. And Schlereth has gave Haloti much props on more than one occasion, now I don't remember him knocking Haloti back then or even know if he has admitted his wrong and ate his words. But he has given him alot of praise for what he has done so far.

haloti plays better against teams that really come at you, likes a bit of man to man confrontation, sees it like a challange; bet my socks that they won't under rate the brownies in the second game; we need to give the man a nice contract and make him a raven for life

@The King- Ngata is a very talented player and I agree he is one of the best. With his mix of size, athleticism, skill, and strength, he is a great player that can do pretty much everything. But what makes Ray and Reed better, even though they are older and can't do as much, is that they can anticipate what the offense is going to do better. Ray is constantly pointing out what the offense is going to run and Reed is the best at anticipating wr routes. Ray and Reed are still the best players on this defense in my opinion.

I don't necessarily disagree, but part of why Ray & Reed can anticipate better, is they get more time to, whereas Haloti's at ground zero when the ball snaps. They also have more than a few years' experience on him.

By the same token, it makes it harder for us to be able to spot what Haloti anticipates and what he doesn't... but maybe when he gets to the same point in his career as Ray & Reed, we'll be praising him just the same.

Wow! I am disappointed at some! This is just the breakdown. The defensive line is the trenches of this game. We players are made. This dude is freakish and greatly talented! I must watch a different game from some because I feel when he is productive up front it which allows our generals of the defense to figure our chess move. Check the highlights on the NFL channel! They love this guy! He even made the analysis who was giving the play by play of the game say "Damn" when he hit mendenhall on one play. Time to give a slot for this man in the hierarchy of our D. Ray, Ed, Haloti. All three levels are on point. We are here! Lets get it! We in there this year.

Well I see it the same way you do Waka, but some will need more convincing before they're ready to put a statue of Haloti next to ones of Ray & Ed. I have no doubt it will come eventually. Every new season, every new game, he take one giant-sized footstep closer to the Hall of Fame.

Give him the rock on offense. Would love to see him do an endzone dance after his first running touchdown. Even going back to his rugby days, the guy is just a phenomenal athlete.

He's going to pick one off one of these days, and we'll get to see it then. It shouldn't even matter if he's not close to the endzone or moving too slow, who is going to bring him down, lol.

Did he get a pick 6 against the Jets in last seasons pre-season?
I vaguely remember it.

Ok, it's only preseason I know
