Its odd you have KC first, but have the Bears below the Packers even though they have identical records and the Bears beat the Packers.

The Bears are who we thought they were..

A concussed Jay Cutler does not do them any good. Plus, that defense showed its true colors Sunday Night - being trounced by the Giants.

I am selectively objective in my rankings, as you already noticed...that's the beauty of Power Rankings!!

But the reason for that is, is due to the fact that GB has been drawing much more penalties and turning over than normal the last couple weeks. That will in all likelihood get fixed this week. That, however, is the norm for Chicago. Although Chicago did beat GB as you mentioned, I chose to overlook that because I dont want to look like a fool when Chicago gets crushed this week and GB looks dominant again.

I think their D simply got gassed and more importantly, became disinterested in the game. When you're offense is playing as poorly as Chicago's was, you need to have some incredibly prideful guys to go out and continue playing well and hard.

We all know they wont keep that spot very long, lol...but until it happens, they deserve the respect that they are earning.

Indeed.
But of the teams ranked below them, SF has the most upside, so for me that is the deciding factor. I wish I could just rank all of them 32 lol

I get in trouble every time I do that, so I decided to conform to the Iron Fist of Political Correctness (aka Code of Conduct).

I wonder if Dwan Edwards money will still smell as good when he's watching Flacco lift the Lombardi trophy?

I can agree with that. Still nice to see Brian Urlacher put in his place.

Holy ESPN yellow shades, batman! Just out of curiosity to see how mine compared to ESPN's ranking, I went over there and took a look at what they think. PITTSBURGH is still ranked number one, while Baltimore is now ranked 6th.

Those are some pretty good rankings. I think the Vikings defense alone should have them around 15, they will make a huge jump in the next couple of weeks.

Love it. Respect the undefeated until proven otherwise. And I whole heartedly agree with #32.

That's how you do it. It's a Power Ranking, you can do whatever you damn well feel. I can buy this as well. Just another man's opinion.

Yep they just posted it. If people were appalled at the PFT rankings. Wait till they see the ESPN rankings.

I don't agree with Detroit being THAT low. They have been in 3 of the 4 games as far as i remember. They could very easily be 3-1.

Last year 3-0. Power rankings #1, Next three games 0-3. Curse of the power rankings?

The playing field seems to be evening out this year, GMs are playing it smart and blowouts are becoming rare. The problem with that is the power rankings are all over the place.

Here comes another #1 for the Ravens.

Fox Sports #1 on their PR rankings. Fox Sports. Steelers are #2.
That was a heck of a win at Pittsburgh last week. What has been more impressive this season for Baltimore has been its secondary. Despite the injuries back there, they have played with tremendous discipline.

Perhaps, but the combined record of SF's opponents are 11-4...their schedule has been brutal. A two point loss to the Saints, a two point loss to Atlanta, plenty of talent and a much easier schedule ahead of them is why I put them ahead of DET and BUF.

Btw, very disappointed in Detriot. They were my sleeper team this year. I was looking for a 7-8 win season from them.
