Webb's Island?

60 posts in this topic

I know this is too early to say, but I think he is building his own Island now. I'll bet by the time of the season ends he'll have his own Island....lol

Remember, he didn't get used to his new knee yet.

Forget using the word "island". That's Revis' thing; let's keep it that way.

Health permitting, I see no reason Webb won't be a really good player for this team for a long time.

I think he dumped a few loads of dirt in the water to build it up for sure. Island? Not quite yet, plenty of football left to play though. I have a feeling he has a few dump trucks on stand-by. I wonder who he will get with Denver. Maybe Lloyd? He's pretty good at covering speedy guys.

Yea forget the island like ER20 said. Come up with something original like Webb's Web.

Little too early for crowning though. Let's get this guy to a pro bowl first.

I agree, no 'island'; that's a Jet thing and we don't want to be a coy cat.

Webb's Web could be cool, but again, still too early for nicknames just yet. Webb is just back, he'll be here a long time.

He may draw Lloyd but Denver has 4 WRs that they like to get involved so we'll likely see him on different people.

...yeah, calm down a little. He had an amazing game, and I expect him to have a pretty awesome career, but it's a bit early yet.

Let's just not use this idea ever again, because if it catches on, next season he'll be holding out and expecting a $200 million dollar deal.

That would be awesome. Have a pig on the sideline. Then when Webb breaks up a play he can run to the sideline and hug and play with pig.

To make it feel more real, the stadium should show a web on the jumbo tron and unleash spiders into the crowd. Yeah!

Webb's Web!!!!

Yeah, Island is the Jets thing. Because I couldn't think a better name so I just throw 1 out so someone can come up good one.

However, Webb's Web sounds good cuz when a WR going in his web, it's just dead trap and no way out! lol

This kid has great future. Once he's in Pro Bowl this year, I think he's completed 75% of his Web...

I like the sound of "Webb City" better... but let's not risk inflating anyone's ego too soon. Not that he would turn into a Revis because Lardarius is a great guy who loves the game, but he needs to stay level-headed in his second year.

I had this idea for a Webb tshirt

On the front it says Ravens at the top and under neath it says: Dont get caught in the WEBB
and in the center of the shirt its a giant spider web with Ocho, Ward, Cribbs, Wayne, Holmes etc. stuck on the web.

and on the back it says WEBB 21 in jersey style
Hes not even starting again yet. A bit premature
plus it was against mike wallace lol...dont get me wrong, he's a tough player and all, but its not exactly like shutting down randy moss or megatron.

But rest assured, webb is one talented kid. I cant wait to see the games against the pats and phins and see how he handles moss and marshall. If he shuts those boys down like foxworth did last year, then we can start getting a nickname worked out.

I've been on the Webb bandwagon since early last year. There is just something special about him, he is plain fun to watch play. Love the nickname. Can't wait to see how he progresses going forward.

The term " out on an island" is nothing new... Webb wants to build the 8th continent.
.. iI do think he played well but he has much work, yet to do. I just hope some of these DB's can create some turnovers.
