MOD NOTE: Remember that everyone is entitled to their opinions and allowed to post when within the Code of Conduct.

When in doubt, don't compare your fellow posters to "Nazis" and don't refer to the message board as a "concentration camp" - that is definitely against the CoC.

I shouldn't really have to say that...

wasnt refering to you specifically, or the others involved, i just thought the whole exchange was kinda silly...you corrected someone, then someone corrected your correction only to acknowledge that the intended point was understood...we all bleed purple round these parts so lets just agree that we need to make sure that the '1' remains that way heading into our bye.

True true...The Broncos rush game is awful...I mean, 15 yds rushing at titans game. I don't know why but this game will be kind of easy for us...Our defense is way better than titans at pass rushing...I mean, Lewis,Ngata,Suggs,Gregg.
Sure, there's the concerning on the secondary...I do not like Chris "fail to tackle" Carr. Fabe did some strange covers at Steelers game, (including that deep throw of CHARLIE BATCH (-.-)). Webb did some good coverages too. He had the eye hawk but he fails at some simple routes sometimes.

I mean, this game will be too much obvious for our defense...Pass rush + pass = incomplete and MAYBE ints. But, if Chris Carr and his awesome fail tackles and fouls, everything is possible...Atention will win this air game.

I know and ultimately don't care seeing as how trivial it was, just bored I guess. Yes, regardless where the bye week is, let's be X-1 :D

bored? After your game this week, you should have plenty motivation to squeeze in some extra practice and kick some tail next week! What position do you play?,,,,

I normally play WR, but our QB is away this weekend, so I'll be assuming that position. We're 2-2 so this is a big game! (Well, as big as a flag football game can be, ha)

I was inclined to begrudgingly leave it until the remark about the concentration camp. That's a little bit too far, no?

Webb got a good bit of play time last week against a very hard, fast opponent. That prepped him for this game. We know we cant line up Fabian with any of their taller receivers. And I expect to be in the nickel and dime packages a lot of the game. Wilson should be playing, and up to speed. Him, Webb, Carr, Nakamura and Washington will all be critical. They don't have much of a threat at TE do they? So Kruger, Redding, Ngata, Suggs, Lewis, and Johnson will have to get some pressure on the QB and the latter watch for the screens.

Demaryius Thomas aside, none of Denver's WRs are very tall or big.

Right now, I'd say Cary Williams is higher than Wilson on the depth chart but that could change this Sunday.

Denver is NOT going to be slinging the ball on us. Not even Peyton Manning can do that anymore. Orton won't crack 250 yards on us which means Denver's offense as a whole won't crack 260 yards on us.

Orton has thrown the ball 175 times in 4 games. That's 44 passes a game. When you throw the ball that many times against sub par competition, you're going to have pretty stats. Throw it 44 times against us, especially when he has already been sacked 11 times by lesser defenses, and I think the results are going to be a lot different. But I am very glad they spanked those foul *** Titans. Loved that one!

Brandon Lloyd is a decent size, at 6'0. But, he was an accomplished jumper in college, and last week he really showed how high he can get up, and makes amazing catches.

Not, sure if you guys will see Eric Decker or not, but he is another big WR at 6'3, but with our depth, our rookies aren't getting much playing time.

How is Ray Rice? What do you guys think he will be come game time (percentage wise healthy).

Any questions feel free to ask me, I will try to answer them, I am not here to troll or disrespect your team at all, I love the Ravens, just not when they are playing my Broncos.

Last year Manning threw average numbers against us in 2 games. Something like a combined 88 passer rating. I wouldn't call that "slinging the ball" on us. Not to mention the secondary is playing better this year and is consistent. Except for Sanchez, we've played 3 veterans and closed 'em down.

Lloyd isn't really a big 6'0. I know he can make incredible catches though. I'll never forget the one-handed one he had against the Giants as a 9er.

Rice probably won't be 100% but as he showed against Pittsbugh, he can still make plays.

I have a question:

With Andre Goodman out, who has been filling in as your #2 CB?

Let's be honest though. Two of the QBs the Ravens have played aren't starters and one has looked so bad, he could be cut in the off-season.

Yea, its his jumping and catching ability that make him seem "Bigger" than he really is.

Perrish Cox out of Oklahoma State. He was a 5th round pick, and has definitely looked like a STEAL. He is really quick and is able to read routes better than most rookies.

He has gotten burned a few times, he is a ball hawk, and sometimes gets burned jumping routes, but is expected out of a Rookie. Most think he has a real shot at being a top CB later in his career.

I think Andre Goodman will be back, but if not, most Broncos fans are comfortable with Cox instead.

I didn't get to see much of the Ravens game, I just know Ray Rice didn't do much for me in fantasy football, was his workload light?

Well Ray Rice played against Pitt and played fairly well for what we could give him, should be able to practice all week so he'll probably get the start im guessing.

Brandon Lloyds been nice for you guys, I remember him with the 9ers only doing good in preseason he was obviously just stuck on an offense that doesnt know what they're doing.

I knew you guy had Cox(wanted the Ravens to draft him) but didn't know he was starting.

Yep, Rice only touched the ball 9 times and it might have been less if McGahee and McClain hadn't suffered stingers.

We need to get the run going in this game. Dominant TOP through the Run game. Let's not give Orton the chance to have a big game.

On D we need to get pressure. If they consistently pick up our blitzers, we're screwed because there will be an open man and Orton's been hitting that guy all season long.

1) Run the Ball control TOP
2) Get Pressure on Orton, especially with 3 & 4 rushers.
3) Stop losing the turnover battle!

Ahhh, dang, so he is pretty rested. Love the guy, but am terrified when we have to face him. However, our run defense has been GREAT this year, much better than last year. Held CJ2k to 53 yards, no TDs and also MJD to under 100 and no TDs.

But still Ray Rice is a huge threat, even if he isn't 100%.

How about your defense? Any major injuries or suspensions or anything like that that is hurting you guys? Besides Reed that is.

That has also been a strength of ours thus far this season, even though we have NO run game. We have won the TOP battle. So hopefully we can stop Rice, like we have CJ and MJD, and win it again.

Our O-line was horrid in the first half of the game yesterday and gave up 6 sacks throughout the game. We are extremely banged up with our 3 best (Clady, Harris & Kuper) not 100%. So yes, if you guys can get pressure it will help as Orton isn't mobile, but he usually isn't baited into making mistakes, he will usually take the sack.

Turnover battle is up for grabs. Orton doesn't turn it over much, and neither have we for the most part. But we haven't created many turnovers either.

I've watched most of the Denver games this year and I'm a big fan and a believer in your team.

I really think this will be a tough game that comes down to the wire (yet again for us Ravens fans). I think Orton will be hitting the open guys that Batch could not do. So this game has a potential for points.

But like always it comes down to pressure for us. We must get to Orton.

I couldn't agree more man. Count on Cam to blow key #1 sky-high though. Hopefully Joe is up the challenge.

Not to diminish what the run D has done but didn't the Broncos jump out to big leads against the Titans and Jags which forced them to go away from the run?

The D is fine and more importantly, healthy(save for Reed). When they absolutely have to, they stop the run better than anyone in the league in my opinion and they've been great against the pass. The lack of turnovers has been worrying though. And pressure, whether blitzing or from the line has been inconsistent.

Thanks, appreciate it.

But yes, I am sure you guys will get your fair share of hits/sacks on Orton.

I am anticipating a close game, but recently you guys have owned us, hopefully we can change that this time around. :)
