Orton has surprised but they have played the 13th, 15th, 28th and 29th ranked pass defenses. Not saying he isn't a threat but right now the Broncos have only beaten the Titans and the Seahawks.

You guys are seriously underrating Kyle Orton. The dudes been balling all year and has a pretty solid young line with a couple of decent weapons. They have 0 running game though, so our secondary will face a real tough task this week.

I'm not sold on this "Denver offensive juggernaut" bit...who have they played again? But speaking of offense, this week is shaping up to be our offense's coming out party. I dont do this often, but I'll go ahead and do it now; I'm fully anticipating our first blowout of the season. We will eat Orton for lunch, and there's not much they can do to stop us from shredding that defense of their's.
Ah thank you. I agree completely. Their offense is completely one dimensional and their defense is near the bottom in most categories.

I think it's one of those I'll believe it when i see it kind of things. They haven't exactly played any stout defenses as of yet. This is their offenses first real test of the season.

I agree next week will be Denver's first test but one could argue it'll be the Ravens secondary's first test too. Think about it. Sanchez didn't throw the ball very much down-field on MNF, Palmer looks terrible this year, Seneca Wallace is Seneca Wallace and Batch is solid but nothing spectacular. Orton has been spectacular this year.

If the Ravens can drill him early, he may crumble but we'll see.

Orton's a nobody. As he proved last year when we played, when only a BS penalty prevented them from getting shut out. And at least last year he had Brandon Marshall. this week he faces a real defense, not the little boys he's been playing against all year so far.

Josh McDaniel probably will never forget what we did to them last season. He was in the highest peak of the mountain, but BLAP!, they lose 30-7.

I'm sure Josh has some surprising play call made just for us. Don't sleep on this game!
Oh-No Tim Tebow... Josh is going to try to make us look foolish for allowing him to trade up to get him I'm scared lol. We shut down the Dolphins wild cat, so I don't care what kind of trick play they have, Wild Tebow or whatever they want to call it when Tebow is in the game, we'll crush them... but word of advice if Josh wants to make sure Tebow has a career past 5 games in his rookie year, he'll sit Tebow, I just hope that it doesn't become a case of the Ravens injuring Orton and we start the Tebow Era(similar to how we started the Big Ben Era in Pitt) and Tebow almost beats us, that would be the worst I'm thinking that could happen, other wise Ravens should be 4-1.

Hey, broncos fan here. Before I post, I want to say that I completely respect the Ravens and believe that they are one of the scariest teams in the league. Although I'm a Broncos fan, I picked them to represent the AFC this year in the super bowl. The upcoming game scares me because I feel like Denver has never won in Baltimore. Don't really know why we always have to play at your stadium, but that's besides the point.

I think this has the potential to be a very good game because I feel we are a more talented team this year than we were last year when we played you. Our main weakness is our running game. I really don't even understand why we even try anymore. Our passing offense is ridiculously good. Never thought I would say that for an Orton lead team, but he is playing lights out. He looks like a completely different player this year. So for Ravens fans who want to dismiss him because he is Kyle Orton you are making a vital mistake. Just wanted to post that because I have read this thread and a lot of you seem to think that Kyle is a joke or lucky to be where he is at right now. I read the same posts on the Titans boards this week, and Orton ripped them for 340 and 2 tds.

I'm very excited for this game because it will be a good measuring stick to see where the Broncos are at. Baltimore is arguably the best team in the NFL, and i'm eager to see how my team stacks up.

Titans also don't have the defense we have :)

Orton is good, but as mentioned Broncos haven't played a top defense yet (though one could argue we haven't played any top offenses). we'll see how he plays on Sunday. I think we'll win, but this will be a test for our secondary. I definitely won't underrate Orton though and neither will the Ravens

The Broncos have one of the top pass offenses in the NFL. Can our D continue shutting teams down? Will our Ravens keep the momentum rolling into next week? Last year we convincingly beat the 6-0 Broncos 30-7.
They've also played some pretty weak defenses in Jacksonville, Seattle, and Indy.

Remember... Denver was 6-0 last year with Brandon Marshall, came to Baltimore and the Ravens showed everyone who the Broncos really were.

The same thing is going to happen this year. Broncos are overrated right now, and Ravens will bring them back to reality.

I agree, the Ravens will be the toughest D that Denver faces to date. That's why I have always liked watching them play because they can make 10-9 game exciting. I feel like the Offense finally has the potential to be special as well, which is why the Ravens are a scary team.

Please don't dismiss Orton's preformance because we haven't played top defenses. The Titans D was suppose to be good and they did not stop Denver. There is a reason that Denver has the #1 passing offense in the league, it's not a fluke or luck of playing weaker opponents. I could understand if you made this statement after week 2 but we are a forth through the season.

oh I'm not dismissing Orton at all. he's a good QB. I just think that the Broncos reliance on passing and an absence of running is going to expose them for being one dimensional to our defense so I don't think we'll allow Orton to rack up as many yards/TDs.

it'll be a good game either way. I love playing non-divisional games. less of me pulling my hair out of my skull :P

Yeah, divisional games always seem to be close and stressful. That was a big win for you today. Denver does need to find a run game at some point, because teams that can't run will eventually fail. With that said, no one has been able to stop the passing offense yet. Hopefullly the Ravens don't expose us, because they certainly have the players to.

It really don't matter what I or anyone else thinks about Orton on this site! We are not playing defense against Orton, that would be the Baltimore Ravens that Orton will be facing. The Broncos better HOPE & PRAY they can protect Orton, or your boy will get his LIGHTS PUT OUT! Now of course our secondary was suspect coming into the season, but as you have seen they have held their own. Our run defense got lit up against Cleveland in the first half, you saw what the result was in the second half, after the proper adjustments were made. So even if Orton is lucky enough to get some good passing going in the 1st half, you better best believe the adjustments will be made and I will guarantee Orton would get shut down in the second half. All in all our front seven is VICIOUS, so our secondary might even get tested! THE END!!

Denver has talent, nobody ever seems to think of us as a threat. The Ravens are an extremely talented D, but no team has been able to make the adjustments and stop our passing O this year. It will be a closer game than a lot of you think.

When you've got the 32nd ranked rushing offense you gotta air it out. There is a reason they are 2-2, the air yardage is merely a result of their lopsided play calling.

You still have to execute in the pass game, which Orton is doing. We could easily be 3-1. We outplayed the Colts last weekend but made too many mistakes that cost us the game.

The only threat they really have at WR is Eddie Royal. He's one fast dude, I was thinking before we got Q and Housh that maybe we could go out and trade for Royal somehow, but now i'm glad we didn't.

I never said it would be a blow out, nor do I think it will be one against the Broncos. Once again your Broncos have not faced a defense like ours this year, and we our going to be in well Rays house and Orton might not even be able to think straight as loud as it gets in the BANK. So we will see if Orton will have success against a top rated defense in their house. Kind of what another person said, if our defense could shut down #85 and #81 along with Shipley and etc. in Cincy, I think our defense has what it takes to give the Broncos and their "lights out passing attack" a good run for their money in our house. I mean good luck to you and your Broncos, it will be a good AFC fight but I think with our home field advantage we will edge it out. Just like today was a must win in more ways than one, next week is another must win AFC conference game. Maybe you can understand that, because there are alot of people here that would beg the differ that the Browns game was a must win just like todays was a must win.

On the flip side of the coin, we've been dominant in passing D. If your team passes a lot on 1st, 2nd downs, they'll need to convert 3rd-downs against a team that's top in the league on 3rd.

He's big, physical and has some speed but he isn't as big a part of their gameplan as Royal, Lloyd or Gaffney.
