Webb's Play

Hi,

Why no one is talking about the play Webb has made on Wallace's broken touchdown play.

After the return this is the most i have seen him play. ( I didn't see the last week game against the bengals)..

I thought he has covered well and come in run support few times..

Definitely our best cover corner, to me. He has the speed to keep up with anyone, because Mike Wallace is one fast dude. Glad to see he's 100% from his knee injury.

Webb was phenomenal today. His footwork, positioning and strong ball-skills were all on full display.

Webb played great, saved a TD and made a great pass deflection. He's doing great for the ravens.

People are talking about it under the player of the game topic but I think his play is well deserving of further mentioning. He was great and I'm glad that he's recovered well. I'd bring up the other corners but I'd rather focus on Webb's excellent play in this thread. He kept up with Wallace, which is impressive in itself, and then made big plays. I'd say he's our best corner.

Webb loojed really really good. I think the dude has only given up 1 or 2 catches this season. Hes been playing really far off the recievers but i think thats by design to help with the knee.

Ive noticed that webb is a fabtastic tackling cb as well. Hiys hard as hell. For example, that great hit he layed on wallace after he ran across the field

Webb has played really well, and he will only become more comfortable with his knee.

All Ravens CBs play off most of the time. And with a guy like Wallace, you don't want to play press unless you REALLY know what you're doing.

To me, more importantly, he has the mentality to be a great player. A good amount of NFL CBs have shutdown talent but for whatever reason, it doesn't happen for them. Webb plays with confidence and goes all out.

They were saying Wallace is one of the fastest players in the league, guess that shows us how fast Webb is as well. (And he just came off an injury so..yeah)

We definitely got a gem in Webb. I really don't know if Kruger will have the impact of a second round pick but I think he can become a solid player.

He made me proud to wear his jersey today. Looks even more B.A. with that black visor now. Can't wait until he becomes our next great corner.

Webb made a few really good plays! he seems to have pretty good ball skills and recognition! I hope he continues to improve on these skills (watching game film like Ed Reed)

I found it to be strange that Charlie Batch seemed to throw more at Fabian than either Carr or Webb... but after watching webb recover on a few plays I guess going after Fabian made sense
