I honestly didn't expect anything less from a Ravens/Steelers matchup [i]"As usual, the game was physical, low-scoring and close, the fifth consecutive matchup between the mirror-image rivals that was decided by four points or fewer."[/i] My heart was in my throat at the end but when I got the text messages about Housh's touchdown (thanks, Taco), I came darn close to floating to the top of the lighthouse from the outside.

It was a great game Warden,both sides had boneheaded plays,Reed missed to FG,Cundiff missed 1.
Mendy had 80 yds 2 TD's.Joe looked cool in the pocket.You guys might not be as solid in the secondary as you thought,or maybe we just had that many targets.Housh showed up today.That helped.

It could have been a win either way.But like I told you earlier this season you guys can be 3-1 as long as the 1 was us.Steelers have nothing to hang there head down about

You made a really good point prophet, our O line was outstanding. Flacco was only sacked once, Oher had his way with Harrison and we completely took Woodley out of the equation.

The Ravens won this game by playing a well rounded game. The coaches called a very good game and the offense and defense played very well. Everyone contributed and Housh is happy again. This was a "Team" win.

Everyone knew that the Ravens defense would win the challenge against the Steelers Offense but the matchup between the Ravens Offense and the Steelers Defense was exceptional.

At the next meeting, both of the Offenses should be better. It should make for one of the best games of the year.

To be fair, Mendenhal ran well. We are one of the best defenses in the league, particularly against the rush attack. Getting 80+ yards is not too shabby under those conditions. And Batch played well too. It was the best game I have seen so far this season, and I would have said the same had the Ravens lost.

in a nutshell, ravens did a great job moving the ball between the 20's all day long, but pitts made plays in the red zone.
Pitts struggled on offense, their line was inconsistent; didnt take advantage of their two turnovers.

Could have easily been a much higher scoring game, but the defenses werent having it.
Btw, i came away with the impression that our defense played a considerably better game...other than a couple big plays, we gave up nothing...and its been a while since the last time i've seen us move the ball so easily on the steelers.

Steelers Prophet is one of the few classy Steeler fans I've interacted with. He's the real deal. If you check just about anywhere else in the blogosphere, its all about beating their 3rd string QB. Its pretty ugly. Well, it will be fun when Ben is back because the excuses will be gone.

The Steelers played without Ben but Batch is a veteran quarterback who has been with the Steelers for quite some time. On the other hand the Ravens have been playing with a rookie quarterback the past two years and only had one good receiver. Now that Flacco has matured and has high quality targets to throw to its not going to be the same as it was the last two years.

There is a long list of injuries that Raven fans can cry about, but they don't because Ravens are winning against the best teams in the league and doing it on the road.

Flacco led this team to a win against the Jets and Steelers. Two of the best teams in the league and his stats look pretty good for starting his 3rd year.
Noone can say the defense won the game for him. This win was a complete team effort.

Too many times this match up has swung the other way. I am glad the victory was earned and not given.
