This Is Why You Shouldn't Be Gloom And Doom After A Bad Week

Flacco was fantastic today, and so was the defense.

This is why you shouldn't clamor for Marc Bulger after 2 games

Have faith, and Joe shall reward you for it

What will his haters say this week?

Did he earn another "C"? Wow. He had a great game. Great finish. Clutch performance.

Did great against a great defense. I think that ball that was intercepted Joe thought Poopsburgh was offsides. Still his fault though because, it wasn't He looked great in the pocket. He did really great when we had a running game going, but still stood cool under pressure. Didn't actually get sacked right? Other than that darn fumble. I think pass protection helped a lot. But still pretty good day, great day considering the opponent and the importance of the game.

That's was a huge win, big play from flacco. Man this feels good, steelers number one defense? They played a varsity squad this week and got exposed.

Flacco is growing and getting better. The Flacco of last year wouldn't have won against the steelers. The Flacco of this year lead this team to a victory

We needed that win as a team and as a fan base. We just beat 2 out of 3 tough divisional games.

Plus Cleveland beat the Bengals.

Flacco thank you for performing against a good defense!!!!! You proved you could actually throw the ball away when no one was open instead of taking a sack and fumbling the ball. I will have your child lol...........O LINE what a great job!

Yep Cincy is 2-2, and that leaves Baltimore and Pittsburgh atop the division at 3-1 with the Ravens atop the division thanks to the tie breaker of beating them today!

Great game Joe! Hopefully this will quiet the fans who wanted you beched. Defense played great and what a time for the first pick of the season. 3-1 in first place with 3 road games!! Come home and be loud next week against Denver.

Man, that was just a beautiful game. If Joe can do that every week, I have literally no worries whatsoever about this year. Great, great job, everyone.

And special mention to Ray Rice - kudos on playing hurt and getting the job done when we needed you. That, sir, is playing like a Raven.

People talk about measuring results over statistics. I'll take a road divisional win with a last-second TD pass against a top-3 defense as a huge measure of success.

Of course, it helps that Flacco went 24-of-37 (64.8%) for 256 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT. Also, Flacco rebounded from each turnover to lead a scoring drive, with only 59 rushing yards from McGahee and Rice to support the passing attack. Furthermore, Flacco spread the ball to 6 different receivers and picked up 14 first downs through the air.

This was arguably the best game of Flacco's professional career thus far, given the level of competition and the importance of the victory.

Well said Franny.

Joe's effort today really proved why the FO decided to build a team around him two years ago. A QB with a more fragile psyche may not have bounced back from the turnovers or the general ineffectiveness but he did and led the team on a strong game-winning drive.

I'm so happy right now.

He didn't give up on the run. Plus McGahee went out, Rice was banged up. I thought Cam did a decent job with play calling today. He was able to move the ball pretty effectively against a top flight D.

Play calling was great for most of the game. I still question his red zone calls though.

Yes I do. They did great with it in the 1st quarter, and that's why Flacco put up almost 100 yards in a quarter. Cam def got away from it though. Cant blame him at the end though, we were banged up at RB. Dont really want Parmele tryin to run lol
