What Type Of Player Would You Be

21 posts in this topic

Just got back from a disheartening loss....32-18

Was targeted 5 times, caught 4 and had 2 TD's. Now, I'm all for team play, but I think I'd be a bit of a diva if I didn't get the ball enough in a game. We had some "non players" in at the end and it is was pathetic. Okay, rant over!

what type of ball do you play?

when I played I was nicknamed Novachek because of my tight end play.I have great hands but not the speed for a WR.
Midway thru the season we were short on MLB's due to injury so I switched over and was pretty decent. Was told I had a knack for reading the ball.So I maybe I'd some some it up as a heap/lewis guy

Played from the age of 6 to 18 as WR and free safety (and as the Boldin type 3rd string emergency QB in high school....only took about 20 snaps as QB in 4 years though). Now, I play in the BSSC league (baltimore sports and social club) and I take it waaayyyy to serious. I want/need to win every game, ha!

being competative is the way to be,if you step on a field and don't wanna win go sit on the bench.
I only played a little in my high school years(some with school, some with a rec league),but then life hit me hard and I had to stop.I think I could have made it to,but hey I had to survive

Hybrid OLB would be pretty sweet, Woodley-Suggs type

On "D", I was FS and the "jump the route guy", sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't, but I would have LOVED to have rushed the passer and dropped him for a loss just once. I never blizted, ever!

Quarterback hands down. Was throwing 89-91mph in my senior year of high school. Too bad my grades and other regressions stopped me from pursuing a career as a baseball player, looks like the O's coulda used me hehe

Different throwing style from bball to fball, but very nice!

I broke my right pinky from a "Favre-esque" rifle from my QB my sophomore year. Still bends to the side like Torry Holt's, just not as bad....ha

Bench Warmer, riding the bench earning $1 million bucks a year and living the good life.

:229031_rofl: Seriously though, I would want to be WR because I'm good at running and catching. :th_sneak-1:

My baseball and football throwing motions are fairly similar actually, you have more of a twist when you heave a baseball.

Played lacrosse, so I wouldn't know anything about the baseball throwing motion. Now, rifling a lacrosse ball about 95+ I can talk about all day long.

Hmm I'd probably be a RB, used to run a 10.9 100 meter in High School. The head Football coach at my high school was on my back all 4 years to get me to join, but the team was so terrible that I couldn't justify quitting playing AA Travel Ice Hockey to play on a really bad 1A High school football team lol

I have played a little bit when I was younger, and I had been one to throw the ball. I can also recall taking an online test a few years back, and found - based on the results - that I was suited to being a QB. However, I wouldn't try to brag or boast.

Shoot, CB is probably the most fun position imo, so I'd take that. As much fun as hitting the quarterback would be, intercepting a pass for a TD would be the ultimate adrenaline rush for me. Plus, I'm not a very good judge on tackling the QB anyway (I got called for a late hit...probably 3 seconds after he threw the ball :( )
