Ravens Fan Contest

Since we fans always like to question how/why the Front Office makes personnel decision, how about doing a contest to select one or two lucky Ravens fans to hang out w/ the Front Office staff for a day. It could be at the combine, the day before the draft, or a day during training camp. It would be awesome to experience how the front office plans, scouts, and decides on Ravens personnel.

I was the first winner of the Post From the Press Box contest, where I got to go on the sideline of a Ravens game, post about the game from the Press Box, and then attend the post-game press conference. That was what got me noticed by the Baltimore Ravens Digital Media Team, eventually leading to my Moderator position.

There was also a contest last year to visit Ravens HQ in Ownings Mills and have lunch with the coaches.

I was third (or fourth). And my game was even more heartbreaking when the Ravens lost at home to an undefeated Titans team. Where Joe throws the pick.

Actually the Post from the PressBox was to advertise the new site--its not new any more and there is lack of space in the Press Box.

You most likely would have been too young--that was part of the problem at the time. There were a handful of really good active posters and a good 6 or 7 were around 16 at the time, one was 13. Its a liability issue we were told. We also had problems with some posters trolling the other MB's getting random people to join and vote for them. Hopefully they will come up with something else fun.

Not saying that it wouldnt be fun to win but why should they keep doing it since they have the Ravens lotto tickets. Plus we are already getting alot of bandwagon fans so we should be ok.
