Just when you think the Jets crap is behind you
Focus on the Jet’s comments all you want but take heed that obviously John H’s move just demoralized some key Raven players.

Who would it affect? Kelly Gregg and Suggs are the only guys I see missing him. Ray doesnt let anything affect him in a negative way, Kruger, Cody, McKinney, Divens are all happy he's gone thats just the truth, the rest of our corners doesnt even really know Pryce outside of 1 year. Foxworth, Webb, Carr, Wilson I cant see missing him that much. Ed? Cant see this hurting Ed that much, hes had friends come and go in his 8 years. Landry is a possibility he was with Pryce for 4 years. But if these guys are pro's they'll mourn for a minute and do their jobs.

Its a business and these guys are professionals. No one is "demoralized".

Whatever, bottom line is he's old and he sucks now. They'll find out soon enough that their big signing was actually not that important. We don't need old pass rushing specialists, we need consistent play and quality depth. He took a pay cut to stay here this season, probably because he didn't think he could do better on the market. And he has been WORTHLESS this season.

Yes, John Harbaugh makes all decisions, and OBVIOUSLY all of our players want to go play in NY with loudmouth Rex.

Does anyone remember last season, when Rex declared the Jets out of the playoffs? Does anyone think Harbaugh would do something like that? Ever?

A good coach wouldn't say that until it was literally impossible to get in. That's why we didn't choose Rex, because he's emotional and reckless. He and Bart are just bitter, bottom line.

Really 1 when I read his stat card on espn they didn't have any for him either way
Yeah, neither NFL.com nor Yahoo have credited him with a tackle.

How about the Jets worry about the Jets? Not which player from the Ravens want to be a Jet, not what the Ravens are doing. You don't hear a Ravens player or coach sit there and talk about the Jets nearly every other week. It's getting ridiculous and, in my opinion, pathetic. The teams have played each other, we won, it's over with. New York should go concern itself with Buffalo, if they really want to go talk about another team.

The more Scott talks about Baltimore, the more I think he's the one who wishes he was on another team, namely the Ravens. Sorry, Bart, have fun playing second fiddle to another linebacker who's better than you, David Harris. You just seem to have the damndest luck playing alongside 52's.

Lmao...

Somebody wanna remind him about that spanking that got put on them week 1 because of their mouths...

Everything was real quiet around NY for a week after that..

They string some wins together and looks like the Jets are back to running their mouths
hey..i love my Ravens..but, that- sir, was no "spanking" - we have yet... to "spank"

I agree with you 100% man. This guy just can't let go of what happened in the past. Bart might feel like Jets are the king right now, but as far as I know, Jets are in a very thin line in terms of whether they are the dumbest team ever to step on a field, or the greatest team to do what they do.

Aside from talking about the fat-mouth-jets,

Harbaugh and Ozzie needs to stop throwing great players out of our system. They almost did with Ray Lewis too. THINK for a second. NFL is a hard place to play mind-games Ozzie. Not everyone is a knight in the shining armor as you were in ur browns' days.

I was ticked about his big mouth ranting and claims at first. But the more I thought about it the more I had to let it go and remember who we are.

The Ravens don't need that crap, they do their talking ON THE FIELD!

You hear that? Whoever is running off at the mouth? JUST PLAY THE GAME and RESPECT IT!

So I guess we were supposed to completely change our defensive scheme when Ryan left? Glad you have no bearing on this team's decisions.

I hope you are right. Sunday will be here soon enough. I will be the voice of reason on these threads i don't care if i get negative 1,000,000,000. You guys have to put being a fan second to some common sense.

I'll take the neg-reps right along with you, man! These people are delusional if they think the Ravens "smacked down" the Jets in Week 1. The Ravens won by 1 point. 10-9 was the final score. And if you try to say "the score doesn't tell the whole story... Ravens dominated," please spare me. The Ravens got 7 of their 10 points because of a questionable pass interference on Kyle Wilson that gave the Ravens 1st down on the goal line when they were over 40 yards away.

If you don't like the trash talk from the Jets, fine. But stop making up stories. The Ravens got a 1 point win over the Jets. Then they lost to the Bengals, and barely beat the Browns at home. Meanwhile the Jets stomped the Patriots and barely beat the Dolphins. Neither team is very far ahead or behind the other.

But bottom line is, Bart is right. I'm sure a LOT of players would rather play for Rex Ryan than John Harbaugh. Especially defensive players. And the way Cam Cameron is running the offense... I bet a few offensive players would rather be over there too.

Common sense...coming from the guy who thinks cutting Trevor Pryce(a guy who couldnt even start on our defense) is going to cost Harbaugh and Mattison their jobs...lol

Talk about making up stories...give me a break. Those penalties weren't questionable, they were holding us all day. And what do you know about the players? NOTHING! You're sure of NOTHING! Bart isn't right, you're just consistently negative and probably wish we had hired Rex as head coach. Well guess what master Rex did last season? Declared his team out of the playoffs with weeks to go in the season.

Oh, that's right... you don't. It's nothing more than another of your negative, and silly statements (and an extremely poor one at that). After all, if Bart Scott says it, it must be true, right? It's not like the man has a history of running his mouth without thinking about it first. Why don't you just go sign up and be a Jet fan already? It's getting extremely irritating hearing your negativity consistently.

I wouldnt write it off, for all the criticism he cops almost every ex Raven defender in the last year and a half has gleefully run into Rex's arms.

Three of them knew they were going to get paid more money than they're truly worth in addition to joining Rex.

Bart may actually be right but really, who cares? Said players may wish they were playing for Rex but as long they give it their all in purple, I could care less who they secretly wished they were playing for.
Agreed.

He might be right. But that doesn't mean our players won't put any less effort in.

Bart Scott is little more than Rex Ryan's (New) Yorkie. Yap, yap, yap and piddles himself when the big dogs come around. With his #82 rank in tackles, why is he still relevant?

If Bart Scott's idea was to divide Baltimore players and fans and get people worried, I hope me posting this didn't do that.

I posted it because I thought it was dumb considering what the official Baltimore site said about players rallying behind Mattison after Ryan's comments that they didn't have the same level of discipline and positioning as when he was there. That, and the comments Rex made making fun of Ray Lewis and Ed Reed.

I also posted because, though I have heard Scott run his mouth before, this seemed extremely disrespectful to Greg Mattison, someone Scott has never played for and probably never met.

I agree that with several years with someone as jovial and nasty as Ryan, you may develop a stronger bond with him than in such a short time with Mattison. That said, has Scott realized that maybe the players who he has talked to are exaggerating or just saying that because they want Scott and Ryan to know they miss them?

Finally, why is Scott too cowardly to go all the way? Is he not naming names because he doesn't want to offend Baltimore? Too late for that. Is it because he can't name 15? I want him to call each player out, assuming none of them implied or said they don't want to be outed, and they can all fess up to whether they are 100% on board.

Wonder how much Ray hates Bart Scott these days, it might be extreme but to me, Ray seems like he has absolutely zero love for anyone that has left the Ravens defense of their own free will. We need some good old fashioned hate and rage in our team I think, not talking crap, just some oldschool hate for every team that you come across.
