This team and its decisions are really starting to annoy me. I think that the players are starting to look at Mattison in a negative light. Its getting really bad when we are releasing class acts like Trevor Pryce talking about we are going to bring him back in a week are you kidding me. If this season does not work out Mattison and Harbaugh both have to pack their bags im thru with excuses. All of these moves in the beginning of the year are not helping our team. If you was going to bring in players do it early so they have the time to get familiar with the staff, players, and coaches not to mention our playbook.

The Jets are just a graveyard of our former players. Correct me if i'm wrong, but i didn't see the same production from Scott or Leonhard last year that we saw in '08. At least Leonhard is quiet.

Again, what makes you think the players are starting "look at Mattison in a negative light"? Pryce is class act but he isn't a good player anymore. Is that so hard to understand? As for Harbaugh saying he'd be brought back, Mike Preston wrote in a column today, he felt John was saying that out of respect for Trevor. Earlier in the column, he talked about Trevor coming in for Redding after the latter got hurt and lasted for only 4 plays. He isn't a solid contributer anymore.

Regarding, Mattison and Harbaugh, barring a collapse of epic proportions, neither is going anywhere.

You say the moves the team made aren't helping the team. Last I checked, Q has been a productive player and it won't be long before T.J. is contributing too. Redding is a starter and we've seen flashes from Wilson. So what are you talking about? Were the Ravens supposed to trade for T.J. at during training camp?

Seriously, complain about the team all you want but make sense when you do it.

He is old, hands down. I'd rather put our young guns into action in a divisional rivalry game such as against Pittsburgh, to get them up to pace. Zbikowski has proven he can start in this league, as our secondary is rated #1 in the league without Ed Reed. Of course it isn't purely his play that has led to this fast start, but if he was such a liability as you seem to believe, our secondary would NOT be #1. As for Willis, they have no need for RBs in NY, they have a rejuvenated LT and Greene who has potential. Harbaugh is a better coach than Rex, look at all the talent he has been leeching from other organizations just because he seems like a player's coach. He doesn't preach discipline, and neither does their organization, as evidenced by the multitude of penalties against them in Week 1, not to mention the Braylon Edwards incident. Harbaugh has proven he can get his players to buy into his ways, and we have achieved success in the playoffs the last two years, and this is DESERVED success, not sneaking into the playoffs by destroying two teams that were resting their starters. I'm going to laugh my butt off when they miss out on the playoffs this year and are stuck in a contractual crisis. Are you a Jets fan by any chance?

Half of the things that you are giving harbaugh credit for is due to a guy name Ray Lewis. This team is his and he makes all coaches look good. But he is only human and can't carry all this dead weight for long. Zibby can start in this league as shown by our 1 ranked secondary......really and its because of Zibby or the lack of credible QB's that we have faced thus far. Zibby has not one big hit or turnover in three games at the safety position are you kidding me..See what i mean killing me..These fans really think that these guys are the answer. I wish i could ask Ray off camera does he think these guys can start on this D. But its okay i promise if this doesn't work out for Mattison and Harbs the bashing will begin.

I didn't say anything about Anquan or Redding. Im talking about the decision in letting Kruger start and the trading of Barnes to leave Phillips i guess as the next man up. Zibby in the secondary is a joke id rather see Haruki back there. But that's about it. I wouldn't have released Clayton two games in either. Haloti we are working on getting you that deal man hold on. Fans are killing me.

I don't care if Scott runs his mouth, because he can't really do much else. He spends too much time competing with Ryan for the biggest mouth instead of playing competitive football.

I have always been a fan of bart scott mainly because of that 2006 year where he went sack crazy..but i wasn't sad to see him go last offseason..bc i was confident one of our other lbs would produce next to ray like hartwell and scott did

the funny thing is that scott isn't even the best lb on the jets..harris is

oh yeah and as for Mattison, Trevor just stated that the Jets playbook looks exactly like the Ravens playbook. So when he dials up those defenses he has taken a play from Rex's book. You can be mad but at least be realistic.

When have they let Kruger start? Even this Sunday, I have a feeling we'll see more McKinney and Redding than Kruger.

They traded Barnes because he didn't take special teams seriously and was big-headed but they knew they could get something for him.

To me, Zibby hasn't been a liability. He's dropped an INT against Cincy and got a dumb penalty against the Browns. Those are the only negatives I've seen from him.

Clayton had to be released to make room for the T.J. signing.

So I guess we were supposed to completely change our defensive scheme when Ryan left? Glad you have no bearing on this team's decisions.

Are you joking? Bart doesn't have a ring and has been to the Pro Bowl and been an All-Pro selection once. And officially, he's only been credited with one 100-tackle season.

Bart is a good player but he's no difference-maker on Sundays.
Bart can say whatever he wants because no one can stop him...

But he can't say it without looking like an idiot.

Pryce can say what he wants, and there will undoubtedly be alot of similarities...but Mattison has his own flavor, one example is what he did to the Patriots was so completely NON Rex Ryan that it completely screwed Tom Brady and the NE offense up that they had no response.

Pryce was going through the motions, he did not get into the backfield one time this season, playing a younger hungry guy has to improve our lack of a pass rush. someone needs to tell Rex that no matter how hard he tries you just cant make green turn into purple!

A player as accomplished as Bart Scott (Pro Bowls, All Pro selections, 100 tackle seasons, Super Bowl Rings, etc) can say pretty much whatever he wants......

Bart scott is acting his age or ACT score entering college 17...you choose.

oops....bad SAT score...I stand corrected. What an <unfortunate character>

Scott attended Southeastern High School in Detroit. Scott played running back and linebacker.[2] Scott's assistant coach, Reinard Davis, recalled that "He [Scott] went 110 percent on every snap and never came off the field. He was unbelievable."[2] During his senior year, he recorded 76 tackles and led the team in rushing with 635 yards.[3] More than one hundred schools sent out recruiting letters however low SAT scores made colleges shy away from him.[2] Scott would later improve his test scores to ensure eligibility.[2]

Pryce had one tackle in 3 games... sorry, but that's not the kind of production we need.

So 1/3 of our game day roster wants out? Really??

I believe that poster was being sarcastic about the "accomplishments" Bart Scott has in the NFL. If he wasn't being sarcastic, good lord I feel sorry for their knowledge of the game and Bart!!
