the only way to view that graveyard is to accept the responsiblity of babysitting the site lol.

i know some may disagree but oh well McKinney is overrated. I have not seen anything that proves that he is any better than Kruger or Divens.
I don't see McKinney is overrated but the fact he was getting snaps over Pryce says he has ability. According to Mike Preston, he had a "strong" game against the Browns.

I was checking out The Sun's Ravens section and Preston doesn't think letting Pryce go was a mistake: http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/blog/2010/09/letting_pryce_go_wasnt_a_mistake.html

Who cares what Preston thinks. He is the guy that constantly picks against the Ravens week in and week out. He is everyone least favorite sports journalist in Baltimore.

Other than that he was spot on.

I said a few weeks ago that Pryce looked like he didn't have anything left in the tank and I'm glad that the FO read my post and agreed with me. Apparently I have a lot of clout with management.;)

I like Preston

I may not agree with everything he says but I value his opinion a little more than some of the other writers. But, again, they're all just writers. They don't decide anything.

Him picking against the Ravens means nothing to me. When the team plays well, he gives them props in his column and report card, when they don't, he criticizes then. A lot of people who don't like him take issue with his negativity but when you break down what he says and take off the purple shades, he's usually right.

who cares? honestly i rather have Kruger in there..he is younger and fast and we need that temp off the line. Jets can snag him for all i care. He had a great run in Baltimore and i am thankful for that but on to the next one.

Understand what you are saying but we want to win this year , this year is not about bringing in young talent to rebuild team it's to win a SB, there's no time for a learning curve we have steelers next.

...and what a stage it is for the young guns to show what they've got. I have to admit, i am not in complete agreement with the decision of letting Price go, even for "strategic" purposes, and i am sure they took under consideration the fact that it might hurt his feeling, but in the end they still thought it had to be done. For some reason OZ and the crew were willing to gamble... Why? I don't know, but i hope they know what they are doing better...

Cmon, now, we all liked Pryce, but the guy is old as dirt and not playing that well. Time to bring in the young guns. and yeah, people say that Kruger has yet to prove himself. but, there was a time when Ray Lewis had yet to prove himself too. he just needed the chance. In fact, if some of you may recall, there were a lot of people who doubted Ray would be a great player, even though he clearly had potential. Same is happening with Kruger now. He's getting his chance to step up, and I guarantee that a couple months from now, we'll be laughing at the Jets (again) and everyone will be back on Ozzie's nuts talking about how brilliant he is. My only question is...what took so long to make this move? (yeah yeah yeah, I already know Kruger was hurt, that's why).

Real nice pic. losing a former pro bowler for a special teams player would make me yell too.

Who? Pryce?

You do realize that Ken Hamlin is a "former pro bowler", too, right?

Exactly. That's what I don't get. It's not like Hamlin is some guy we just picked up waiting for a bus in Baltimore. He's actually been to the Pro-Bowl.

I'm hanging right with you Fly. Great guy but I didn't think Pryce was going to make it out of camp, didn't have him on my final 53. I have a feeling when Kruger went down, they gave him the benefit of a doubt, and kept him on to give him one last opportunity but, he showed nothing. I also don't feel they released him to bring Hamlin back. More they released him and Hamlin was still available. It's now Kruger's time!

Why are people treating this like he is Ray Lewis or someone big? The man is down after this year is up.
+1 ... exactly.

What shoes is that? My boss has laid me off for a week, agreed to bring me back AND guaranteed my salary for a year? I'm down. No problem. So basically, he decided to get greedy and wanted to dip both his hands in the cookie jar. Then talk just a wee bit of carefully worded watered down smack on the Ravens. Good riddance if you ask me.
