The league is separate from MTV. They just needed a home and MTV was willing to go there. Even if MTV would stop broadcasting the league, it would still go on and find a new home. Probably FX, Showtime, Spike etc.

Seems kinda cool to me, but I'm also a guy...do the math .

I'd probably watch it before area football. It's unfortunate that what would appear to be one of the first potential lasting attempts at organized female football has to involve sex appeal.
