Lingerie Football League

So I've seen advertisements for this league and of course as a woman my first thought was sure....exploit the female body yet again.

But after checking out the website and watching some videos I'm thinking ok, maybe I'll watch and see what it's all about. Has anyone seen any of the games? And excluding the obvious "eye candy" appeal, is it worth watching if you love football?

Looks like the Baltimore Charm plays tomorrow night at M & T. They dropped from 5th rank to 10th. Here is one excerpt/note from their first game I believe.

Now I love football so if it's not all shaking the booty and a joke and they really play I just might watch.

I've watched 3 games (call me a fan). I actually watched it the other night when the Charm played their first game. In terms of football its really great. These girls really hit and can play. They have some running backs who are just trucks. Remind me of Hillis. IMO its better than Arena football.

Here are the downsides, its on MTV2. Which by me is not in HD. The quality is poor and you can't even see the eye candy in full flavor. Point 2. They really highlight everything else other than the football. I feel like I am being rushed through a game when its on TV. Once a play is done, they show the next play ASAP. Some plays they skip.

As for the Charm they are bad. I watched them get crushed. It's fun to watch, but I don't know if I'll be watching it again unless I'm flipping through channels.

Oh now see, I was willing to give it a chance. But skipping plays? I'd rather watch arena football. I was hoping they would be good games. I guess I might tune in just to see once but that's it. MTV? That right there says it all!

Yea i was wondering if anyone had seen this league as well. The Charm are kind of bad Philly destroyed them. The started a rookie an she looked pretty rattled alot of short passes but they have a good running back. I will continue to watch them an even might try an make it to a game. I actually think this is good for women that love football so i will support it.

My two favorite players so far are Ida and Brittany T.

MTV2 nevertheless. Well they need a home, not to many places for a scantly clad football league. We all know what MTV wants to do, turn it into a reality show more than a football game.

I'd almost prefer to watch these girls play with clothes on , and have it be on the NFL network or something. These girls can still play. I know there's other women's leagues, but none that are getting the media attention like the lingerie league.

It's actually a shame. Its good that they are getting media attention. But I'm sure a lot of them are pissed they have to do it half naked to get the attention.

I think many of the girls on defense are just cuties who they throw in there. But the girls on offense, QBs, RBs, WRs are real athletes who'd rather be playing with clothes most likely.

yea im sure there is other better players but they wont play because of the way they have to dress. im hoping that this will catch on tho because its not that bad just needs a new sponsor.

The funny thing is the black guy in purple is my peoples an he refs for my flag football league. I will have to hit JJ on my facebook and find out info about the team. I know they have a facebook page too because its linked to our Semi pro team that he plays on.

Sizzle the Frederick Semi-Pro coach is also the Charms coach. From what i found they practice sometimes up here in frederick. Its only there first year so we should show some support as ravens fans for our bmore teams.
