Colts President Bill Polian Says 18 Game Season "done Deal"

I would be ok with expansion if we were going from 16 to 17, and leaving it at that. Goodell wants more games in London well about how a 17 game season where each team has a Neutral Site game. Now if your scheduled to be in London than you don't get a Neutral site game. Here's what I think would work:

- Keep the Current Schedule Rotation the way it is with 16 games. Than for the 17th game, well I'll get into that coming up.

- This solves the problem of a team losing a home game/road game because of London. Teams would still have 8 Home/Away Games.

- Now for the Neutral site thing, and this goes with the schedule thing, maybe try seeing about using College Stadiums on Sunday for the Neutral game and for both teams it has to be within a certain distance that would make it easy for the teams and fans of both. Example, take Baltimore and Philly, make that their 17th game, and since Baltimore and Philly are both close to Delaware the Blue Hens could offer up their stadium for the Ravens & Eagles to play in(I'm sure some Blue Hen fans in Delaware would love to see Joe back there so essentially it may turn out to be a Home Game for the Ravens) and another example would be taking Dallas & Houston and putting them on the field where the Long Horns play or Texas A & M play.

- Now for the scheduling, start the season on Labor Day weekend, where you essentially give teams two bye weeks, 1 is the usual bye and a second bye is a Bye to give the teams rest after having their Neutral game.

- I would than expand the Rosters from 53-57/58.

That's how I would do this, either make it 17 games where teams can still have 8 home games and 8 away games and have a neutral site game where Game funds are split among the stadium/college that was used and the NFL or no expansion and keep it at 16.
