Starting on NFL network right now, check it out if you haven't caught any of them yet. They are doing #61-70 right now and #70 is superman Marshall Faulk.

Is Ray gonna be in the top 30?
Even though we all want Ray Lewis to be ranked extremely high, I'd just be happy with him making the cut anywhere from this point on.

To simply make the Top 100 is a huge compliment in itself when you consider the thousands upon thousands of players that have played in the 80+ year history of the league. Narrowing that list down to the 100 players that had an impact on the game is difficult and people will always get slighted, so to have Ray Lewis not be one of the slighted thousands is good enough for me.

i agree, there are over 250 people in the hall of fame so for reed, JO and any other ravens who make the list is a real achievement

While I agree with that lets not kid ourselves, if Reed was 80 something Lewis is GOING to be on this list. He's impacted the game more in his time than Reed has. Lewis was a first ballot hall of famer if he retired in 2005...

I say Ray and Manning make top 10.
Manning might make it. I doubt Ray does.

I agree. Top 20 or Top 30 might be the highest Ray'll go, but I certainly wouldn't complain if he slipped into the Top 10. The biggest factor working against Ray is that, of the 40 players revealed thus far, only 3 of them are currently active in the league. It's hard to argue against Ray's body of work when matched against any era, though.

This isn't the only thing that separates him from HOF linebackers.

Ray will be there, no doubt. Top Ten may be aiming high. It'll be a great recognition if he lands there, though.

I don't see Ray not being on the list. Michael Strahan is on the list afterall, and I wouldn't call Michael Strahan more influential than Ray Lewis.

I don't think anyone is suggesting Ray wont be on the list....

I was and I wasn't. I mean, no guarantees he'll be on the list, but conventional wisdom says he'll be. Then again, this is also a list that has Steve Young and Troy Aikman ranked so low compared to how fans view them, so you really never know. Thus far, I think it's been an excellent list, but it's almost like there's a bit of suspense as to where they'll rank Ray Lewis at this point.

how often are they going to release more of the list?
They update the list after the latest episode airs on Thursdays at 9.

they just released the next one.. Going up to 50 and still no Ray. I think he will land high but i highly doubt that there will be even a single defensive player on the top 10. Not because i dont think any defensive players deserve the top 10 but people just recognise offensive players more in general.

Tonight's episode was really good. Those Earl Campbell highlights were just nasty and watching Willie Lanier was pretty cool too.

I could see Lawrence Taylor or maybe Reggie White cracking the top 10.

I think they have already alluded to Ray being on the list, showing clips on interviews.
It seems like not only is he on the list, but he must also be highlighting someone.
I think Ray has a shot at the a high top 10/15.

Looks like prime time isn't too happy about being #34 on the list.

Here is the updated list of Top 100, next week they do 21-30 which is where I think we will see Suga. Bruce Smith at 31 is a bit odd, the man should be top 15 IMO.

Suga Ray Lewis.

i think 21-30 will be where we see the rest of the still active players who will probably be on the list: Ray, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady
