Well Comcast Lies Again

after confirming with comcast they Lied to the public saying York Customers would see all games - they wont . apparently by york they ment hanover which mine as well be adams county so my question is where to watch the game that is not Labled a Bar in York county

It's not comcast's fault. Don't blame them. It's the way the media markets are set up. You can always find the definitive answer to if the Ravens will be playing on TV in York by going to the 506 distribution maps.

Well you better go on and break up with Comcast and go and get that DirecTV and that Sunday NFL package! I can only imagine how that has got to suck not being able to watch your team play on game day! Good luck to ya and hope you are able to catch every Raven game for the rest of the season and hopefully into that second season!!!

Did you ever find out why Comcast does not carry Channel 13 WJZ in the York/Adams area ? I know they carry other Baltimore channels why not the CBS affiliate?

I live in York county and by sheer luck we have armstrong cable which carries all Baltimore and all Harrisburg channels. Makes sense since we are directly in the middle of these two cities.

Millions of people live in an area that doesn't air their favorite football team. They go to a bar that shows NFL games. Many bars have NFL Sunday Ticket and show all the games. In the York area... I know Murph's Study Hall now has NFL Sunday Ticket. Waterway has it too.

Renters are not allowed by law to keep you from using satellite. Some try to get around it, like I had to pay a $500 deposit. Its definitely worth every second of it though. I don't think I would catch many Ravens games here if not

I live in Glen Rock and have comcast, and I get WJZ 13. No Baltimore FOX though, so I always miss 2 games a year because of the Eagles.

How exactly is comcast lying? they are only a cable provider, it is your CBS affiliate who actually controls the content.

If you have [b]CBS - WJZ Baltimore [/b]on you list of Comcast channels then [u]you will get the game[/u].
If you only have[b] CBS WHP Harrisburg[/b] then you will get........

1) all CBS covered Ravens [b]road [/b]games as this is contractually required for NFL secondary markets. York/Harrisburg is a Ravens secondary market
and
2)Some Ravens [b]home[/b] games as this is totally at the whim of the WHP producers as they try to balance between stillers, ravens and iggles

So to save some aggravation and wasted phone calls if you have an issue with Comcast about ravens games it can only be around whether they choose to carry WJZ.

If comcast in your area will not carry WJZ-Baltimore then start bugging WHP- Harrisburg to air more Ravens home games or as other posters here have stated, get the Dish.

I live in Hanover and it will be channel 16 Ravens game and channel 10 Steelers or vise verses (not sure) but yes if you live in the York area you get the stinking Steelers. sorry go to a sports bar then

funky actualy there is an unofficial ravens nest in Winterstown pa at Franks Pizza so my buds will be there less of a bar atmosphere more family friendly
