The Ray Lewis Coaching Tree

37 posts in this topic

Was it just me or did anyone else notice the one person on there that spoke the least about Ray. Good ole Rex. Im not trying to read to deeply into it. Just an observation.

I think Rex is the one on that entire list of coaches that is the most intimidated by Ray.

Maybe because they got into a battle of words and Ray made him swallow his?

Im so glad I got to witness this piece and watch Ray play on my favorite sports team.

Actually, I would definitely say that Mike Smith and Jack del Rio spoke much less about Ray than Rex.

This was almost certainly filmed before the season began. In all likelihood, it took place during winter meetings or something of the like.

Excellent piece on future HOF Ray Lewis, Just makes you proud & honored to know we as Raven fans saw his greatness from day one back in 96 at Memorial Stadium. Hopefully this piece " The Ray Lewis Coaching Tree " will put to rest all the argument & debate about who's the true architect of the Baltimore Ravens defense, I find myself as a Ravens fan in this debate constantly with Jet fans (Rex Ryan), Bronco fans (Mike Nolan) & 49er fans (Mike Singletary)... IMO if anyone gets that honor of being named the architect of the proud Baltimore Ravens defense my vote would go to Marvin Lewis aka the originator everyone else who came in after him are just beneficiaries...

Man I just love watching NFL Films productions. Steve Sabol always knows how to get to the heart of a story. For me, there's nothing better then seeing our players and coaches honored in this manner.

Ray is and has always been the heart & passion of Ravens football and I for one, as a fan, feel privileged to have been a part of his legacy!
