My gut tells me Flacco will be running for his life once again from Harrison
As long as it doesn't result with a fumble for a TD. That crushed me that one year.

This Steelers game is just another game to me. Without Roethlisberger out there, the win isn't as presitge. I mean I want the Ravens to beat the Steelers at their best. We haven't beat big ben since 2006....I'm sick of it!

I could care less about beating them with or without Ben. For divisional standings, this is game is SO important!

Jared Gaither where you at?!

We really need him against the Steelers D otherwise expect Flacco to look a lot like how he did in Cincy, rattled.

Steelers' games are ones I always get nervous about. as much as I despise them, I know they're a good team and that at the end of the day, even with Ben out, Charlie is still a pro and he's on the team for a reason. it'll be close as usual.

being able to brag about a win over them would be nice, too. my dad lives and breathes Steelers.

I'm sure Yanda can do just as good a job holding Harrison all game, haha..

But yeah, we need Gaither back yesterday; this offensive line is a mess without him. Today they were fine, but when the Browns' only good DL wasn't even playing, that's really not saying much.

We need this win and I think the D is gonna show up angry. As long as the O line takes care of Joe, we have a good chance. Someone is getting smacked, make no mistake.

we struggle against the steelers when we can't bring big ben down...and he's hard to bring down. either he brushes off defenders or escapes containment.

charlie batch is a sitting duck. long as we dial up the proper blitzes we should be good.

The Steelers have our scored their opponents ridiculously. Very tough game on the road but we need to find a way to win. Our offense needs to continue making very few mistakes.

I don't think they've outscored their opponents "ridiculously".... Excepting yesterday - and, let's face it, did anyone expect the Bucs to win that game? We have a much better defense than Tampa Bay. They won't make 38 on us.

We really can't afford to go 1-2 in the division already on Sunday. This is a huge game for us...and Flacco.

If we can keep Mike Wallace in check and actually wake up on Run D and stop Mendenhall, which we have done a good job of in the past, we have a chance... assuming Joe figures out the 2-deep coverage and Cam commits to running the ball like we did in the Jets game, even if we're not successful.

P.S. I really hope Rice will be ok and ready for the game and that Gaither finally returns.

We're in for a battle.

Talk about a tough game for the Ravens. In the burgh is not a easy task, trust me I want to see a Ravens win (I hate the Steelers like you all) but it wont easy.

bmore187 you are foul for that one.

I, ON THE OTHER HAND

Predict a rout by the Ravens. Something in the style of the last year's dominating playoff road win against the Patriots, which I have dubbed "The Foxborough Massacre"

Charlie Batch will not be able to do anything against us. I'm not expecting a light-out performance from Flacco, but I am predicting the football gods to swing this one in our favor. These guys are missing too much right now to be competitive against us.

He's a Flacco hater. I think he'd rather see him fail then us win. But you should stills support your team, that's really our only job as a fan. Not throw out some random bad stats for Flacco and predict a loss. It's fine, its an opinion. But whatever.

Ravens 6 Pittsburgh 17

Flacco 16/35 171 yds 0 TD 2 INT
sacked 4 times
Ravens 17 Pittsburgh 10

Flacco 21/34 200 yds 1TD 1INT
Sacked twice

(These predictions are if Willis/McClain has a good game because more than likely Rice won't play)

Pitt! Last year we had no film on Dixon; this year we've had weeks to get film on their team and w/the QB situation there pretty much set now, we also have a film on Batch and a week to prepare for him. I don't see any reason why we cn't get picks off him, he threw 2 yesterday; but I would rather see us throw no picks. I think our D-line can stop Mendenhall and Rice/McGahee should be able to run on their D-line. Still, it's the Steeleers and it will be tough, but I think we should win.

is it wrong to assume that the steelers could beat us? after watching the browns game i know this will be a tough game. even without ben that defense is impressive. it will come down to field goals.

i hope flacco has a huge game but with troy out there i would be happy with just 1 int.

I agree the only person I really felt a little worried about was Dixon because he's so mobile and that was how they almost beat us last year when he was starting QB and he didn't have a bad game against us. Now Rice may not play because of that knee they aren't going to throw him in there and make his knee worse this fast. Hopefully they put Cody in there to stop Mendenhall from gashing us up the middle like the browns did yesterday. It will be a tough game but my predictions are if Flacco has a good day our defense will hold them (because they feel a little salty about that performance Hillis put on us yesterday as a backup RB he was a freight train) then we should prevail.

Not at all. This game could go either way. The Steelers have an excellent shot to beat us. I think it will be a close game.

But to come out and say Flacco sucks we lose 6 to 17 is a bit extreme from a fan. But like I said before, its his opinion. I know what he really wants is Joe to go. And that's fine too, just another opinion. Everbody entitled to them.

If I had to make a predicitons. It's one team scores 13 the other 9. Either way.

Holding strong to my route prediction. The low expectations, the uncertainty, and the dread are almost identical to what went down when we are about to face Brady at home in the playoffs. Only this time our opponent is far less dangerous, and just waiting to crack. We will both be 3-1 after this game, and I'm hoping Ben comes back rusty, hell, maybe he can start a QB controversy over in Pittsburgh in the style of our little mini-controversy.

im not saying flacco sucks but he always has bad games against the steelers. i think even if he throws a INT that he will bounce back. we can win this but it will come down to the our O-line.

It really does. If the O-Line gives Joe time. Joe will complete his passes. If Joe is constantly taking hits and pressures, its going to be a long game for him and us. O-Line really needs to step up and out of their shell. Man Up and get off the snap.

Then on the opposite side, the front seven has to stop the run. The Steelers are game planning to do the same thing Hillis just did. Prepare to stuff the run.

And lastly. Protect the damn ball everbody! We might not need turnovers but if we are giving them up, we can start giving farewell goodbyes to this division.

To Recap:
1) O-Line step up
2) Defense stop the run
3) Protect the ball

It could be a rough night then. The Gaither-less O-line hasn't look very good in most of the games.

If the offense has been playing the way they have for most of the year (average 10 ppg against good defenses) and if the defense can't reliably get pressure, stop the run, stop the pass, or get turnovers, this could be a long game. Of course, there is always the chance that Flacco really has established chemistry with at least 2/3 of his receivers, and if the defense plays like the Ravens D usually does, then this could work out...

We are already behind the 8 ball with losing to the bengals, albeit at there house but if we lose this week we are already 2 loses in the division which makes the road ahead alot tougher. I think there are alot of factors to winning this game but I see turnovers and special teams as big factors. We need to win the turnover battle. Get one or two for us to help set up the offense while not setting up the steeler offense on the short field. Since this will be a low scoring and sometimes monotonous affair the team that breaks it open with a big play, possibly on special teams will tilt the odds heavily. Special teams hasn't been that special for us so far this year. Been scary at times really...
