For the record: my comment of "Dude" was directed at the fact that it was a tough post to read in general (grammar).

Hahah, okay, just making sure.

But the nicknames are stupid, we've warning of them before, and he had some profanity in there - all reasons to take it out.

There are many worse things he could've called them..

Hahaha

:26: Couldn't find a cookie but this is probably healthier anyways

The nicknames even get tiresome for me and, trust me, I don't have any love for the Steelers.

And I agree with the sentiment of "One game at a time". Even as fans, we can look ahead and then be disappointed by what's happening NOW.
Besides, I think you guys should look forward to this win against the Browns before we ruin your day the following week. ;)

I still can't believe I'm going to miss it. :(

I will never get why fans say "lets not look ahead we still have a game to play before this one" or stuff like that. Do they think it makes a difference or something? Why not look ahead if you want to.

Anyways, I'm excited yet nervous to see how our offense will do against the steelers. Hopefully we don't melt down like against the bengals :gaah:

I understand why people say that, but after week 4 we'll be 3-1 and the Steelers will be 2-2.
The problem is that the Bengals will be 3-1 and in front of us because we lost the opportunity to get up on them last week.
But really, let's focus on the Browns first.

Newsflash: Flacco and the Ravens offense is set to have a horrible game against the Steelers. Apparently, Flacco cannot play well when facing a team with a top 10 defense. Case in point, Flacco has had two poor games so far this season, reason being he was facing two playoff teams with top 5 defenses in the Bengals and Jets. As a result, Ravens fans cannot expect their team to beat good teams this year. Apologies to all Raven fans that thought we had an elite team. Our only excuse is that it will take time for our offense to gel and the offseason was too short a time to do so. Please stick with us through another year of Flacco's development, it may take that long for him to finally begin to sense pressure and learn to set his feet and step into his throws, not to mention learning to anticipate his throws and getting rid of the ball under 4 seconds. Thanks in advance for your understanding. We know it is excruciating to endure another season of losing to hated division rivals.

P.S. sorry guys, just had to get that out of my system. Will endeavor to post less sarcastic remarks in the future.

Players and coaches shouldn't look ahead, but I don't see anything wrong with fans doing it. We're not supposed to focus on beating Cleveland because we aren't playing Cleveland.

That said, I'd prefer not to focus on Pittsburgh if for no other reason that the fact that I expect the Ravens to perform much like they did in the Bengals game.

Flacco vs Jets week 1 : 20/38 248 yds

Brady vs Jets week 2: 20/36 248 yds.

Just for all those lumping the Jets game in with the Cincy game and trying to act like he crashed and burned against the Jets.

I doubt it, who is going to create that TD aside from Ward, which will be heavily covered?
If we give up a TD that game, it'll be from an offensive turnover.
I think the Steelers D will score on us before their offense.
Of course I hope and expect that will not to happen.
Which leaves the fast Mike Wallace in one on one coverage. I think Wallace is a bigger threat than Ward.

Why is week 4 against the Steelers about 20 threads above week 3 the Browns? I know it will be a blow out. But it is a bit too early to be looking ahead.

Steeler game is always scary for me because I live in the heart of the Stiller country! I try not to smack talk too much til after the game (hopefully)! I never expected them to be on top of the division at this time either. It sure isn't because of their offense! We may be facing Randel-El if old brittle Batch gets hurt at Tampa Bay! We just have to be able to score more than field goals! I think Joe definitely has something to prove against Browns and then we can keep that momentum going!! If not now WHEN!!!
When asked about the Steelers at the beginning of the season , many people thought this was going to be a cake walk.

Now, this game will be a tough important game. And we are by no way guaranteed a victory. It'll probably come down to the last drive as always.

This game will really thrive on the O-Line and Flacco's success.

after todays game I am not looking forward to pitts-burgh at all.
Why not?

You don't have faith the D can bounce back and the offense can do enough to get a win? Seriously, it's like unless the team dominates all game, people lose confidence.

Yeah pretty much. We should have done much better today. The steelers are WAY, WAY better than the browns. We barely squeek by with a winless team, and now we are facing a well deserved undefeated team. Who nine times out of ten is a huge battle for us any way.

I am not saying we cant win or wont win, I am saying it is going to be a huge effort and every little mistake will be huge, every weakness will be determental.
In all that I dont like our odds.

I agree, I am very concerned about next weeks game. Steelers are playing very well, without a QB. Hopefully, this will be the break-out game for our O and D will be stellar.

I agree the Ravens should have performed better today but they got the win and that's what matters most. Personally, I feel the D will be extra motivated come next Sunday after their sub-par performance today.

The Steelers have certainly looked impressive but to me, going 3-0 against three teams that didn't make the play-offs last season isn't a huge feat.

And don't you think it will take a "huge effort" with few mistakes from the Steelers for them to get win next week too?

Ummm...they do have a QB. Batch has been a starter in this league and knows what he's doing.

This game might get ugly..actually its always ugly! Flacco's struggles against the steelers D is well noted.. This game is going to mean alot for our standings and morale. I'm cautiously optimistic...

Last season matters not one bit in my opinion. That said I do understand your point, but hopefully you understand mine as well.

Oh now way is this going to be cake for pitts-burgh. This game, I think will be much like the jets game. Low score hard hitting, fights after each play (like most Raven / steeler games) I think it will be a tougher match up than the jets game and that was a nail biter till the end.

Joe actually played pretty well in both games against the Steelers last year.
