How, if anything, could we make our defense better? I know we have one of the best defensive teams in the NFL, but we must always strive to do better. Our defensive line definitely needs to bring their A-game against the Steelers and Dolphins! Kakamura, Ngata and Ray Lewis are awesome, BTW!!

They could GET TO THE <deleted> QUARTERBACK! But I suppose making sure to not give up the big passing plays means you won't get as much pressure on the QB. So I guess option 2: CATCH THE DAMN BALL when you get your hands on it.

Really impressed with our D. Cody's return will solidify our run D, while Reed's return will be great for the secondary.

I'm gonna keep saying it but I really think Cody is the key to improving the pass rush to new heights. As good as Gregg is, especially in run support, he doesn't cause the matchup problems we want, like keeping Ngata and Suggs from being double teamed.

I think sometimes dropped INTs are due to the surprise factor - I mean, they throw right to you n you can't believe it! More often than not the successful picks are steals from the receiver, or tips from the receiver or jumping the route. Mayb e they should have a INT drill where the QB throws the ball right at our LBs and DBs.
I'll take forcing field goals to TDs all the time - talk to NO or the Raiders after their Sunday losses, all due to failuresat kicking FGs. I would be surprised if Oakland doesn't call SHayne Graham. And I'd love to have NO need to kick a field goal to win in Wk 15; if we can make teams kick FGs to win games then we should hopefully win most of them.

Our defense has only given up 2 TDs in the first 3 games. If we continue stonewalling like this, our opponents will only be able to score with FGs. Our revved up O-line helped the defense a lot: they weren't under as much pressure and they had more time to rest on the sidelines. Kudos to a well-played game!!
