It's here! One of the matches I've waited to see since the schedule came out. Can't say I don't have mixed emotions going into this game. I guess we can only hope for a good showing and a chance for the Ravens come out victorious.

Wow. Such little faith floating around this forum this week. I know we have our flaws and sometimes they are glaring but the Saints' have theirs as well. C'mon people. The Browns found a way to beat this team. We have the veteran players on this team who KNOW what this game means. I have no doubt they are making sure that EVERYONE on this team knows what this game is about. I think we come out with our best. Close game, again decided in the final seconds or OT. Don't know why, but I just think it is Cundiff with the winning FG.

We hear ya, but its natural to be nervous going against a quality team with Brees at the helm. Not too mention, you say the Browns beat them....well, who beat us? Ugh!

It is true we lost to the Bengals in Week 2. But, I'm not sure it is the same exactly. We game them 4 INTs and they still needed 2 questionable penalties to score 6 pts to take that win. The Browns however, handled the Saints from the word "go". A 30-17 beat down is a lot different than a 15-10 loss IMO as far as determining a team's ability. Even though they both count firmly in the L column at the end of the day.

I agree with you....I'm excited that this game is at 1:00. Hate having to wait until Sunday or Monday night.

I know. Waiting for that Monday night game was killer last week.

After last week's performance anything is possible, but I suspect it will be a shootout. I'm also rootin' for the Steelers so we can end up with the 5th seed and NOT have to travel thru New England!!!!

Well one more night...

I'm probably gonna get neg'd for this.

But I'm not going to get too pumped for this game, that way if we loss,I won't be too upset. This game was actually one of the games I counted as a lost early on.

That being said...if we do pull out the W,I think the whole board deserves a break from negative topics, for winning a game everybody is expecting us to loss.

The W will not depend on just the offense or just the defense, both sides of the ball need to be on point. No leaving the other side to do the dirty work the majority of the game.

It will not work out for us with a gassed defense that played for 30 minutes without so much as an offense.

And I am really late. That's impressive 4 weeks in a row. I think I was second for like 9.

A win and we still hold the 5th seed even if the Jets beat the Steelers. The division is not out of our reach mathematically yet so we very much want the Steelers to lose.

very excellent point, first of all i could never actually want the Steelers to win.

More importantly like you said, the division crown is still within reach. That Steelers offensive have been poor(even by out standards) over the last 3 weeks or so. Also we saw last season how that defense plays without Troy P in the lineup. The Jets/Steelers game will probably come down to a defensive or special teams score.

If the Jets can pull that game out, and the Ravens take care of busy, that would make the last week of the season huge. imo

It's interesting to see how many people are down on the Ravens this week, as if we actually lost last week.

I hear people saying, if Schuab can do that to the Ravens defense what will Brees do? Well i actually don't see much difference from the 2 offensives. I'd give the slight edge to NO, but still doesn't make this a automatic loss for the Ravens.

I get the feel that too many people looked at the stats of last weeks game instead of the actual situations of the game. People say wow Schaub caught fire in the second half........well when a defense decides to go into a bend but don't break that tends to happen.

The Ravens defense knew exactly what they were doing in the 2nd half, force the Texans to run a lot of plays to only get FGs and it worked. Until the offense just didn't hold up their end of it.

If the same exact thing happens in this game, it would mean the Ravens have a huge lead, and i'll take that any day.

I actually think this game will be much like the NE game was. Brady had his moments, but the defense played pretty well. Our offense will have some success but will have to be more efficient then explosive.

I see this game ending in a 24-17 Ravens win, with Flacco throwing the game winning TD to Dennis Pitta. The defense will come up with a huge stop at the end with like 20 seconds left on the clock and Baltimore fans will be thinking Super Bowl again.

well all i know is that since it seems that the offense finally has a little something going (just little) but good enough, i hope our defense can play the rest of regular season, post season, and down in Dallas at the super bowl the way we played Pittsburgh Dec 5th..................because I'm tired of having to pucker my &$$ cheeks in the 4th quarter when we been up 10 points and somehow end up losing or going to OT. Come on T-Sizzle and Mr. Ray!!! Do like Stoudamire did for the NY Knicks ever since he got to NY he's improved that team they just couldn't close the 4th qtr, so he gathered all the best tape of teams doing so...............go get the best 4th qtr defensive teams footage and figure it out I'm only 27 yrs old I been to the last 2 AFC championship games and all I have been getting is a waste of money and years shaved off my life stressing your inconsistincies, show a brother what you all are really made of the team that you look like and have potential of being as seen on paper!!!!!

All we need is the run game going. Too bad we probably won't have Heap and might not have McClain or McGahee. It's going to be a struggle as always but that's just another Sunday.

That's easier said and done. Even in great matchups we can't get them going. I'm afraid this game will fall on the passing game yet again.

If that's the case, we lose badly, unless our O-Line had a revelation this week in practice.

I posted my first forum topic on this question. there's a poll. It's under Ravens talk. Post on it. I'm curious as to how the fans feel. It's called Jets or Steelers.
