Week 15 - Baltimore Ravens Vs. New Orleans Saints

1,388 posts in this topic

Keep in mind, the Ravens defense faltered because of the Saints no-huddle; most offenses won't go no-huddle on consecutive possessions, largely because of the fatigue factor as well as the increased probability of making a mistake. Furthermore, the quicker you score from a no-huddle, the less time your defense has to rest, which is the inherent trade-off.

Saints will go no-huddle again, but don't expect it to be on every drive.

Nice improvisation and awareness by Flacco in the pocket, decent series to try to score before the half. If not for Porter's deflection and the gang of defenders in the endzone, there were two OK chances to score there.

our ravens have problems with a spread offense and a stud qb

We excel in a spread offense

I love how after a touchdown everyone acts like we just lost the game. This has to be one of the most bipolar fanbases in the NFL. This is Drew Brees, people, one of the best quarterbacks in the league. If people thought we were going to contain him all game long, you're delusional.

We didnt expect that, but we couldnt even scratch the guy on that drive and they started on the 10 yard line. The D is too vulnerable to the 2 minute offense.

The point of that post was to illustrate what some ravens fans consider the problem and how irrational their solutions can be. Kind of making fun of them.

Offense blew that great return. We need to score starting the 3rd...

They didnt really blow anything.. not much u can do with only 13 seconds except go deep which they almost executed with Mason.

Offense has been great today they just gotta continue it in the 2nd half of the game.

Stop acting so down on the team. So they scored with a 2-min drill. We ALWAYS give up points on a 2-minute drill, and the Saints are the best in the league at it.

Hmmm. Nice try. I like the agressiveness. Keep it going and we win this one. My future stripper daughter "Raven Baltimore" lives.

They have to make every possession count. The Saints are not a team that you could afford to let up on. They have to play for 60 min., and one thing is for sure you have to watch the game for 60 min.

Overall a damn good first half, besides that last drive. Defense stepped up and offense looks good. IMO one of the best halfs we've played this year.

Lets get a great drive to start the second half.

A great stop to start the second half. We're kicking.

great start! but...once again, we have seen 2 things:

1st...21-7 IS NOT enough to put teams away....especially teams like the Saints

2nd..our defense can't handle or stop that "no-huddle" or 4-5 WR attack of these passing teams.

21-14

that is not nearly enough points to win this game! let's go OFFENSE AND DEFENSE!!

LET'S GO RAVENS!!!
