It's all about peaking at the right time. A team that plays perfect football all season, runs out of gas in the playoffs. Ask the 2007 Patriots and their numerous scares at the tail end of their 16-0 season, and then the mini-scares they had in the playoffs before losing to the Giants in a sluggish Super Bowl effort.
