Week 13 - Baltimore Ravens Vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Painful team loss. We saw numerous missed tackles on defense and for what seems like the 50th time, the offense did nothing in the second half.

I like Flacco but still I don't care. That was on him. Yea Dickson could have made more of an effort but still. That was Flacco.

Ravens went conservative way too early again and it cost them, that and not even blocking Troy Polumalu...what the heck?

Cam calling for runs instead of working for first downs and running the clock out..HUGE mistake..

Ed Dickson cant catch and he also doesnt know where the first down marker is...rookie

We lost the game when we had 4 minutes left, and we threw the ball after a 5 yard gain by Rice. That was probably one of the worst calls I've ever seen Cameron make. And I still can't believe Landry couldn't tackle the 4th string RB.

DAMN IT!

SCREW ED DICKSON!

FIRE CAM!

FIRE MATTISON!

Does that about cover the threads we'll see soon?

Home Field Advantage would have been so helpful for us. Thanks Cam for screwing up the play calling. We need new Coordinators, Cam & Greg have got to go!
Cam called a horrific game. Why would you ever call a reverse against the Steelers are you crazy?! And Ed Dickson for god's sake, he can't block, he doesn't make the extra effort to get the first down.

As for the defense they played great. Except for the fact that Landry is so bad at form tackling it's laughable

I hate to be premature, but this isn't our year. We can't beat any good team to save our life....
Can't beat a good team??? The Ravens beat the Steelers IN Pittsburgh, beat the Jets IN NY, beat a Broncos team that had the top-rated pass defense at the time and was at the top of their division, beat a rejuvenated Browns squad, beat a Bills team that had not lost a game by more than a possession at that point, and a Bucs team that has been giving the NFC South a run for its money.

This game shows how important Heap is to our offense.
We will never know for sure, but unless Heap was going to call some aggressive plays, it might not have made a difference...

I'm so sick of the apologists for this Ravens team. The facts are the Ravens CAN'T WIN BIG GAMES!!! I'm a die hard Ravens fan, and other than 2000, as far as I can remember, other than against the Patriots in the playoffs last year, we can't beat the dynasties when the chips are down PERIOD. Make excuses, say the season isn't over or whatever, but this team can't win big games. Maybe its the coaches or whatever. But look at the facts, we choke on offense, we get more penalties than we've got all season. RIDICULOUS. Now I look forward to Harbaugh saying he's proud of how the guys fought, blazay, blazay. I would love to see one of these bs coaches say losing this game is inexcusable.

Landry who was such a sure tackler, and at times is has struggled. He had Redman wrapped up. Reminded me a lot of that Falcons game. That pass blocking was just horrid. It was collapsing right away. Flacco was stepping up from a collapsing "pocket" just to get guys still coming from all sides.

Seriously, what is with the Ravens' inability to tackle backup RBs? They can't do it against Mewelde Moore and they can't do it now against Isaac Redman?!? My goodness. I am just burning up livid.

Before this game I watched highlights of the previous Bal-Pit games, including the AFC Championship we lost to them. It all boiled down to us making stupid plays, shooting ourselves in the foot. Same story here. Penalties. Missed tackles. Not giving the extra effort. Just saddening.

This is absolutely not our year. Cam ruins us in terms of safe playcalling at the end of games and we put our defense in bad situations. We keep making critical mistakes. Awful.

I wanted Dickson to make more of an effort... not actually I wanted Cam to not try to run it down their throats, or try a reverse.

Hindsight is twenty/twenty, but they did have an open receiver and 55 yards into the wind is alot to ask even for Billy.

49 into the wind.....kick away everytime!

Idk why Cam do this. Reverse against the Steelers? Are you kidding me. 2nd & 5 we try to pass the ball and fumble. C'mon give it to Ray Rice..

None of those teams are elite, except maybe the Jets.

The elite teams we've played are the Pats(loss), Falcons(loss), and Steelers with Ben this time(loss).

We are a good team, but we aren't anything special. We are average on the road, and now will have to go through it the whole post-season. And I wouldn't chalk up wins against NO, Houston(who will play inspired for MNF home game), or Cleveland out yet.

Inexcusable to call that crummy play. Cundiff had the range tonight, we should be in OT right now, but NOOOOOOO! A Steeler friend already rubbed it in. I just told him that was Cam Cameron's Christmas gift to the Steelers.

I'm still in complete shock....... I turned my TV off.

I'm not even going to watch ESPN or NFLN this week because I know all we are going to hear is how great Ben played on his ankle... and the Steelers are the best team in the league.... blah blah.

Can someone tell me that there is a chance we can still get the AFC North Title and the 2 Seed at least?

enough with the negativity. Good job Ravens you guys played well. A few things we can still get better at but thats what the regular season is for. We are still gonna win the division so keep playing tough and getting better. Hats of to number 43 for making their game saving play. I absolutely hate you for it but i have to respect it. If you are a fan keep your head up and if you are a Raven keep your beak pointed towards the sky because we are going to Dallas. This one game is not going to stop us...NOW LET'S GO RAVENS!!!!

Nope. Even if we match the Steelers win for win, they'll take the division cause of the better division record tiebreaker.

It is what it is guys, we just weren't sound enough to pull it off. Our coaches flinched and so did certain players. We may just be on the cusp of greatness once again.

Well said. Next man up: Houston Texans. A 4-0 run to end the season would be great.

If they lose twice and we win out then we can get the 2 seed
