It's gonna be cold, and apparently it's supposed to be windy, this means it's going to be difficult to throw or kick the ball.
It was said it might snow, but I think that's out of the question.
In the cold weather, we could see less Cundiff TB's.

Either waqy, we have to win, and I think we will, by more than the 3/4 point margin, I think it's going to be 6 or more.

I'm so psyched for this game, I'm not sure I'll get to sleep, and then have to wait all day for it...

I hate waiting all day for it. Have to work for about 5 hours which will help pass the time.

I don't usually hit the game threads much if the game is televised here but I might have to tonight for support. My bf is a Steelers fan. Yep, I am forced to watch this game alongside a Steeler fan lol

If he gets too obnoxious I guess I can always throw the deadbolt on the door when he goes out to smoke..

I just heard on NFLN that Ben will play and with a metal shield kinda thing in his shoe protecting his foot? How is that even allowed? Helmets make sense to protect the head. But the guy is wearing real armor over another part of his body.

Let him do what he wants. Pittsburgh's offense is going to absolutely stall today. I think Batch is better than a broken Ben. This won't be a fair fight if Roethlisberger is going to be hobbled the whole time.

If it is a pretty serious injury then I agree. Because it takes away what Ben does great. And with O-line stability issues, it could just be insult to injury (harhar pun).
But even if the metal plate is just over the sole, how is that allowed? And how does that help? I've never worn these expensive cleats, but can they bend easily? Is it just to keep his foot from bending I assume?

I don't know, but they give guys plates and screws all the time. They're giving Ben pain medication and giving him "the works" so to speak on his ankle and foot. It's all to take the pressure off where he was injured and keep if from moving. I still doubt he's going to be very mobile and yes, with that O-line, he's going to be destroyed.

Yes we should not be deemed less great because he is ALWAYS injured. GUys get bumps and bruises all the time, but Roethlisberger always seems to have more than that. Maybe if he didnt extend plays, run head first, and leave himself so prone from the rear he would not have so many opportunities to get injured. But if he didn't do all that he wouldn't be that great now would he.

my wife and i were chillin on the second floor a few minutes ago drinking coffee and we just saw;

i wish i could've talked with Cam longer. lol! but they were all moving swiftly to go to a meeting and security was around of course. i caught Cam by himself because i was standing by the escalator and he was going downstairs...lol!
